About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find something new and extremely entertaining....

ABOUT ME

I'm weird, twisted and interested...in anyone, anything, anywhere....for new experiences, horizon expansion and life enrichment.

PHILOSOPHY

Know the rules before you break them...and lots of other awesome quotes I keep track of on my FB page.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Lots of coffees, beers and dinners, initially; hosted over 100 people during my tenure in Mandalay; Not very active these days but am always down for a meet up, wherever I am, be it at home or while traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed onto couches belonging to both friends and strangers for periods both long and short. I slept on the floor of some kind guys in Anchorage my friends and I met at a park, and I have lived on my friend's couch for a month when I decided to get rid of my apartment. I am blessed with a talent for being able to sleep almost anywhere.

Interests

Travel (duh), literature, words (hearing them, reading them, writing them, making them up, discussing them), learning, conversation, motion, speed.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: stupid, funny ones (e.g. Super Troopers); Music: pop punk, rock (Killola, The Dollyrots, Metric, RHCP....), alt. electronic; Books: "Apathy: And Other Small Victories," "All Families are Psychotic," "The Poisonwood Bible," "Writing Down the Bones," "Born to Run," and the list goes on.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done in life is meet the people who remain near and dear to me. The world is a wondrous place, but without friends to share it with and relate stories to, it would be meaningless.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach a seminar on the most efficient way to pack for an indeterminate amount of time; I'd like to attend a seminar with really rich people who want to donate to my travel fund :) And I love sharing. It is, after all, caring.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Myanmar, Thailand, United States
