ABOUT ME

"An individual or Free Spirit always has to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. To be your own man is sometimes a hard business. If you try it, you’ll be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself. "

So I really dislike going to Countries that have conservative Societies even if the peep are open minded! But a person has to conform as dislike conforming to what Society wants us to be as very anti establishment!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ETEusDtJGw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyXsdR86qcU (tho the dude is more vocal as don't really hate but rather dislike conservative peep)
Cuz they tend to fear peep who are individuals, non conformists or free spirits so they tend to alienate, try to have them conform & are scared shitless of free thinkers!

So yeah like to go to places which accept peep regardless if they're non conformists, individuals who are different or themselves! Cuz those places just don't give a F*ck as they just want to drain U of Ur $ so when its a bit of a game to keep my money in my pocket! But with all due respects to U Europeans well consider Yourselves lucky as U'll never see me in West Europe (but would go to Eastern European countries) again unless my itinerary forces me to spend a night at Ur airport! Cuz hell I much sooner go to places where NO ONE GIVES A F*CK or where individuals & conservative close minded peep can co-exist!! Which is why love going to India, Africa, etc as No one really cares what a person is like so just disappear in some cool place cuz everyone fits in there but in Western Europe well f*ck I dislike their Society as even Canada is better lol!!

So my Free Spirit attitude & maybe my ugly appearance scare people into thinking I'm weird or strange. But hey it's safe to stay at my place cuz not an ax murder, creep, pervert or whatever (was cured ha ha) but someone who likes to enjoy life & have a good time! I'm a chill guy who's not huge or overweight as try to keep in shape & don't judge people on their appearance! Have my own apt in Mt Pleasant area (East Van) in Vancouver so try to enjoy it and host new ppl visiting the city. Got rid of any drama, problems & hang-ups as I'€™ve changed things in my life so I can be relaxed and chilled. So have a lot of time on my hand as I work from home a bit on my computer, get part time work & volunteer.

When it comes to work & career now guess I kinda think like this person
http://paulocoelhoblog.com/2010/09/08/the-fisherman-and-the-businessman/

But was thinking maybe I should get a real job? But in my last full time job well when I asked for a day off, I got this crap -

So you want a day off huh? Well, let’s just take a look at what you’re asking for ok?

There are 365 days per year, making that 52 weeks. You already have 2 days off per week, leaving just 261 days available for work. Since you already spend 16 hours each day away from work you’ve used up 170 days, leaving only 91 days left to work. You spend 30 minutes each day on coffee breaks which accounts for 23 days each year, now leaving only 68 days available. With a 1 hour lunch break each day, you used up another 46 days, leaving only 22 days available for work. You normally spend 2 days per year on sick leave, leaving you only 20 days per year available for work. We are off 5 holidays per year, so your available working time is down to 15 days.

Look, we generously give 14 days vacation per year which leaves only 1 day available for work and I’ll be damned if you’re gonna take that

So I do a lot of traveling as been to all continents except Antarctica (but plan to go there too as met a guy who works there who said could send me links about the continent & to either work, ugh, to get there). Also lived & worked in 6 countries, volunteered in Africa plus traveled extensively in South America, S.E. Asia, Australia, Europe a few times, etc. So like to meet cool like minded people to hang out for the time I'm in Vancouver! But I find that if u live here that people in Vancouver are Not easy to become friends for some reason! Actually most are Flaky and pretentious which is something I find difficult to deal with.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66iq40acSGM&feature=endscreen (If U miminize the video at the end U can see a few other interesting videos too!!!)

I've volunteered 6 days at the Shambhala Music Festival, Red Cross Disaster Recovery, 4 months in Kenya, coached mentally challenged ppl skiing, Youth Shelter, not gay but volunteered as a witness for a gay wedding between 2 chicks in Stanley Park on BC Day, etc. Also volunteered at the Dewali Festival to better appreciate the Indian culture. I feel that volunteering and helping people is rewarding and makes me feel that I’m making a difference in someone's life! It's also a cool way to make friends cos these ppl are friendly & themselves!

I like to bike around the city, run, hike, all kinds of music, dancing, finding cool places to eat, music festivals!

My biggest passion/interest is traveling and meeting new people!

So in Nov 2014- Jan 2015 thought I'd go to Okinawa as it's kinda tropical and part of my ancestorial homeland of Japan! But after some thought about the typhoon weather happening in Nov- Dec, I decided to go back to South Africa again bcuz also got an invitation to hang out & stay at my friend P's place as would take me camping in SA like we did in BC in Jul-Sept 2014! But found out that P was actually building a Township Shack behind Mom's home in Western Cape so was soooo busy that we didn't have as much time to hang out and go camping!!

My SA friend P always talked about the beauty of South Africa so invited P to visit and stay at my place during the South African winter & our Canadian summer of 2014! So took my friend camping around BC to show the beauty of BC is as awesome as sites in SA! Also took P to Eastern Canada to see the French connection of Canada too as went to Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto & Niagara Falls! So think all in all think P enjoyed visit to Canada & seeing the natural Canadian beauty as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves hangin out and chillin!!!!

So finally from Oct 2013 to Feb 2014 I decided to South Africa!! Hell in the past when I tried to go to South Africa I had always started from the north part of Africa to get to South Africa but something always came up so never made it as far as South Africa! Which is why flew to Johannesburg plus also got a ticket to Madagascar! Took a bus & camped in Botswanna which was cool! Victoria Falls was 2 touristy for me so took 3 noisy crazy overnight trains thru Zimbabwe to the Mozambique! Then caught an overnight bus & hitched to Vilankulos a small village! Wow those 4 days was a crazy trip! Fuk found out most places tho called backpackers guesthouses actualy perferred to cater to the richer European tourists doing bus tours as they spent more money! Then I found out that my ATM card wouldnt work in Mozambique as they only took Visa ATM cards!! So got my ass out of there to Swaziland which was really cool & enjoyed as met some cool dope smoking S. Africans! Finally made it out of Swaziland as caught a ride out by a cool French chick back to Jo'burg! This chick lived in Reunion Island & made it sound cool so decided to go there! Then decided on taking the famous Baz Bus "http://www.bazbus.com" south towards Capetown after spending time in Durban!

But shit made it to a small village called Wilderness where I pretty much ended up spending about 3 months as met some cool peep and got immersed in the life style there! Then got an invitation & free ticket to go to Abu Dhabi for Christmas! I then returned to Wilderness just before New Years where I stayed till the end of Feb when I flew home! I never did make it to Madagascar or Reunion Island as planned which meant I stayed 4 months in South Africa as overstayed my 3 month Visa!

In Jan-Apr 2013 was planning to go on a trip to South Africa but changed my plans to go to SE Asia as invited a close friend (or so I thought they were but not anymore after that trip) who had never been to a 3rd World Country (or much of any place) before so thought SE Asia would be more suitable since we both were 420 friendly & thought it would be readily available there than S. Africa (shit was a poor reason I guess to change my plans)! But found out that we didn't get along traveling & WILL NEVER TRAVEL WITH ANYONE AGAIN regardless if we're close friends or not as we split up after 3 weeks!! Shit was thoroughly disappointed as bent over backward trying to insure that they enjoyed themselves! So f*ck it was a total disappointment but was lucky we split up as I thoroughly enjoyed going to Philippines, Borneo and Malaysia alone thank God! But shit will never ever go back to Thailand, Laos or Cambodia again cuz well had been to Thailand & Cambodia b4 (but went there for my friend) & there is just NO adventure there for me but just a bunch of novice backpackers (passing as travelers) going from place to place partying, etc. But shit I really enjoyed going to Northern Philippines chasing down a 93 year young woman who gives manual Tribal Tattoos so got 2! http://www.interaksyon.com/lifestyle/in-kalinga-tattoo-by-93-year-old-artist-is-skin-deep-with-pride-and-ancient-traditions
Also thoroughly enjoyed going to Borneo & the experiences of hiking in the rain forests, hiking up Mt. Kinabalu http://www.climbmtkinabalu.com/ & the jungles, seeing the oragantans, etc.! Check out this video of oragantans as they like to put on a show!! http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/orangutan/
Also got to try a few some different food like eating dog meat http://migrationology.com/2012/06/eating-dog-cat-meat-china/ , a fruit bat in the Philippines http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GYRxUnyDus
and Balut in the Philippines http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balut_%28egg%29
https://www.google.ca/search?q=baluts&hl=en&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=_IeHUcy9BcajrAGCvoHQDw&sqi=2&ved=0CE4QsAQ&biw=1280&bih=661
Hell I think this trip changed my way of traveling completely from now on! Cuz think I enjoy hanging out with local as found them to be much more interesting & enjoyable as found the foreign travelers (espec.Europeans) to be condenscending & racist to the locals as they never spend much time with them or treated them like inferior as they don't associate or meet many other races in Europe except for conservative Europeans (with all due respects to the more liberal fun ones) who just like to drink a lot!! But I like traveling the World to meet the local peep of the area & the more different the better! Shit I found the mainland SE Asia is a f*cking bore along with the many Europeans (gemerally speaking as there are many fun ones too) who find traveling there!!!

Had only been back 2 months from a 3 month trip when in Mar 2012 well on a whim bought a ticket to India for 3 months! But forgot to check the weather at this time of year as monsoons were starting! But loved being back in India so sure will return there within a year to visit the nice interesting Indian peep I met! Also check out the places haven't made to in the past 3 visits!

I went on a trip from Oct 2011 to Jan 2012 to Africa, Abu Dhabi, Turkey and the former Soviet countries in Eastern Europe! I love Eastern Europe and the people so wanted to finish visiting the remainder of Eastern Europe that missed in 2010 but kinda dislike Western Europe (so now have seen 95% of Europe so have no desire to go to Europe at least the Western part of Europe for a long long time tho love the places & ppl! But know I will return to Eastern Europe again when I have the opportunity! In 2011 also went thru Istanbul to UAE and Ethiopia! Loved the trip but my best memories will be the cool interesting ppl met!

In 2010 spent 6 months traveling thru West Africa to Timbucktoo, Middle East, Eastern Europe and part of West Europe (which is actually not my style or area I care for as not foreign enough or been there too many times I guess)!

But found out u don't have to go to foreign place to enjoy joys of travel. Hell just did a month Road Trip a cross Canada by Ride Share & Couch Surfing to find the experience & adventure as great as any I've done. Cuz there are awesome ppl and places in Canada like all countries as u just have to be open minded and friendly!

In late 2008 & 2009 traveled from Mexico, thru Central and South America. In the fall & part of winter of 2007 volunteering in Kenya. Let's see also had work visas for NZ, Aussie, Oman & Saudi Arabia. Heck in my crazy existence was lucky in Saudi Arabia & Seattle WA to work for airlines which was cool! So on a moments notice could take flts cuz don't make many plans but just go wit da flow. But didn't make as many trips as some ppl as do more traveling when not employed cus work limits my life style as dislike schedules! Fave place is Africa but also really like Asia & India as can disappear to cool crazy places without many restrictions! Also found my ancestoral home of Japan to be just awesome & proud it's my heritage. But realize that I'm too many generations removed from their culture so could never fit in completely in Japan! Cus most ppl there are too polite to say what's on their minds as don't like to piss off ppl like yours truly! But for me it's kind of hard to be a conformist & fit in their society but still loved the country, ppl & food! Hell thought for a hoot wow how cool would it be to live there for a while & maybe shake things up a bit. but dam would need to learn Japanese!

I've lost contact & interest with most of my previous friends. But since I moved into a sweet studio apt well felt it was a good time to do some new & old things too! I'd like to learn to snow board better cos skied a lot before but hardly been in town for winter lately, swim better (some may say just learn) & maybe try a triathalon one day as have done 1/2 marathons. It would be cool to try rock climbing as have met ppl who do so watched and think it would be fun to do! But I never take things too seriously hence I probably don't become as good at most things I guess! But that's not to say that I've never been known to be passionate about some things!

OK I'm passionate about traveling and meeting people who are interesting & fun, not to talk about traveling, but to find out about people from other places.

I've met so many nice and cool people couch surfing that I find it's the best way to meet people when traveling. I don't usually have a lot of fixed plans when traveling or in my life! It's kind of sad to say goodbye to the people you meet couch surfing. So I try to keep in touch using Facebook as I only use it to keep in touch with people meet traveling.

Was lucky & made a little bit of profit investing in a couple properties which just carries me with some part time work. So when my marriage went south well I liquidated everything & went south too or to warmer climates too! It's like a previous life to me now as don't want to return to my career in IT. It's not for me anymore but was a good way to earn money, work abroad & do some traveling. But now just want to enjoy life as never lived to work. Kind of stumbled across this video about a career & making money!

Guess I gave up the real world to travel so now this is my real world!
http://matadornetwork.com/notebook/how-to-quit-your-job-and-travel-the-world/ Read this article to hopefully put to rest any apprehensions a person may have (when things aren't going so good) about u'r decision to say screw everything to go traveling! Bcuz u'r one of the maybe 10% who had the balls to go for it!!!A chick met traveling posted a FB link to this article written by a guy who also met traveling! I may not be a productive citizen of the world but I've done my share of studying, worked in IT & now I just enjoy life! I always enjoyed life as one doesn't have to travel to enjoy life! But most days I wake up in the morning & thank God that I'm around to enjoy another day! My ex wife says I'm Living the Dream! But heck most ppl could too but they get bogged down with accummulating material possessions or living for the future! Hell I think live now cus there may not be a future so look after it later! Cuz when I'm on my death bed I want to be able to think "Lived life to the Max at full speed"!

Firm believer of Carpe Diem & Paying it Forward!
Also love to do BLEJA which is the Serbian word for hanging out with who ever doing nothing cuz that's what I do best!l

I'€™ve very anti establishment, non conformist, un conventional, my own person & been fighting an sort of an addiction or FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) as don’t want to miss out on Life & it has Nothing to really to do with Social Events or things! Think I'd link a lot of what causes FOMO as being generated by Social Media tools like Facebook or Twitter. Also the greater use of Texting where people are alerted to join in an event, etc. But don't use Social Media too much so that's not a problem for me! My FOMO is fear of NOT seeing or completing my Bucket Life in Life!

But FOMO also comes in the form of Missing out on things in life - like NOT a completing a degree, having a relationship, getting/being married or being in a Long Term Relationship, for girls fear that they're at the age where u should but don't have kids even if don't really want them, traveling like all ur buddies even if u'€™r broke or don'€™t really want to have a solid career, etc. For some it'€™s like missing out on Awesome sales, bargains or opportunity to meet a hot person at a party/event, a dream job or advancement! Well these are not my FOMO's as can€'t be bothered to be part of that norm any longer!

It€'s all a psychological fear that we get from hearing others talk about it! But I€'ve been fighting being dragged into that cesspool of thought! So only use Facebook to communicate easily with people I meet who live overseas! Donâ't & have never used Twitter & only use Text as it'€™s cheaper & can text at my leisure!

So try not to care if I'€™m missing out on things as I'€™m content with who, what I am & where I'€™m headed! I've come to the state now where if I'€™m suppose to meet people to enjoy an event or whatever that I don't worry. Cuz if we meet up well awesome but if we don'€™t well going to enjoy where ever I am, what ever I'€™m doing, with whomever I€'m with or if I'm alone and screw it if I even meet up with others!

Try not to second guess my first instinct to do whatever. Cuz firmly believe “Everything Happens for a Reason & œIt was Meant to Be€ that something happens! But as a believer in Karma, try not to comment about others & their actions, tell people what I think – which I find difficult to stop so this is probably my greater challenge!

http://psychcentral.com/blog/archives/2011/04/14/fomo-addiction-the-fear-of-missing-out/
http://www.oregonlive.com/living/index.ssf/2011/05/fomo_is_the_fear_of_missing_ou.html

Have been volunteering at the Shambhala Music Festival for a few summers now but think may pass this year cuz a lot of it was FOMO!! Cuz shit so what if I miss it cuz know what to expect! But this year I'm more stoked on going to Burning Man! Mainly cuz never been there and get so much feedback so built a bit of FOMO! But working on dealing with my FOMO so 60% decided screw the experiences I'll miss out on as don't want or need to be a part of a large movement or what every one is doing! Like to be my own person so probably will pass on BM this year too! But one thing I won't pass on is traveling cuz I can do my own thing & don't have to conform to any rules! well sort of have to abide by laws & cultures I guess! Hell don't mind if I travel alone, not hang out with someone all the time, not be in a relationship cuz need a chance to really know & like myself & not conform to what society wants me to be!

So consider myself a Free Spirit but along the way I may have pissed off & lost some friends. But what the hell
"You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough."

SHIT HAPPENS but not saying I'm that crazy but sometimes
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkcuT4djQ9w&feature=related

Definitely my outlook!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qFIaI1M5kU

When I look back on my life I find that my attitude to life & living it hasn't changed cuz this has been my outlook for some time now!!!

http://whereisthefreespiritguy.blogspot.com/2010/01/what-can-i-say-life-is-friggin-amazing.html

Like chicks as friends to hang out with more than guys! But definitely NOT into what Society enjoy as Don't Care for the Bar Scene https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152303869825223 Hell Guys are friends with other guys as they "Do & Endure" as in fights, wars & battles, team sports or being wingmen for each other as they hit on chicks, etc. While a Guy is a friend with Chicks to "Share & Enjoy" Which is what I'm all about now as love to share my weed, experiences, adventure and just hanging out! So if u ever want to enjoy 420 well look no further! LOL Hell when I hang with chicks they are usually more sensitive, caring so if u talk to them about your feelings or life well they can be sensitive to how you feel & want to listen while guys usually just want to change the subject & talk about their life! Also guys are more competitive, only talk mostly about how much stuff they own & chicks they did it with, limited in their interests, want to drink to get drunk & tease u if u don't want to drink, etc. Hell I know cuz was basically the same until I matured a bit!! So now underneath my don’t give a f*ck exterior well I’m kind of sensitive, caring, emotional, sentimental & don’t laugh but kinda romantic! (But not in a “hit on a chick for a relationship sort of way” if that makes any sense!) Guess became a better person after my ex wife and I split up! So can sort of credit her for making me more caring & sensitive to peep’s feelings! Hell I was a bit of a male chauvinist like most guys who marry young! But that’s not much of an excuse for being a bit of a jerk too I guess! http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-be-single-and-happy?sourcelink=verticalrecommendation

OK so maybe in my life I’ve done some crazy, wild stupid things & survived! Hell I've said and done things to hurt people, sometimes bashed people who don’t think the same as me, did & said hurtful things without thinking & basically just been a Jerk to lose friends! So think some people have mentioned that I can be opinionated, out spoken, mouthy (guess some of these mean about the same thing) and also have no tact, rude, swears a lot, inconsiderate, vulgar, talk too much, doesn't listen, short tempered, inhuman, ignorant, intolerable, douche bag, asshole & just don’t give a shit, etc. plus a few can’t be mentioned on family type forum! So then should maybe mention my Bad Traits that appear when out in public, shit faced, wasted, stoned & fuked up!! So think this song kind of sums up a Free Spirit Idiot like me

PHILOSOPHY

If I get up in the morning then I'm going to have a f*ckin awesome Day!!!Here are my basic life's beliefs?-A friend will bail u out of Jail. A true friend will be in jail with u saying "Dude did we fuck up this time".-It's the friends that u can call up at 4 am that matter most. A friend is someone who's there 4 u when they'd rather be anywhere else.-Strangers are friends waiting to happen. Everyone's a friend unless they prove otherwise-Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art. It has no survival value but like them it's one of those things that give value to survival.-Live right now. We fight, cry, scream & yell but after all that like who gives a shit. so just let it happen & live ur life - be happy & have no regrets-Be who you are & say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter & those who matter don't mind!-Before you insult someone, try walking a mile in their shoes 2 see how they'd feel. then when you insult them you'll be a mile away & have their shoes.-People will forget what you said & did. But they will never forget how you made them feel.-Don't take life too seriously cuz you'll never make it out alive anyway!-We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give!-I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not."It's the times we're so crazy, that people think we're high!" (take ur pick of which one cuz am a bit of both most of the time & enjoying myself)"The way to happiness: Keep you heart free from hate, your mind from worry. Live simply, except little, give much. Fill your life with love. Scatter sunshine. Forget yourself, think of others.”-"When you fall in a bottomless pit, you die of starvation" -"Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time & annoys the pig"-"A word to the wise ain't necessary - it's the stupid ones that need the advice."-Eternity is a very long time, especially towards the end.-Don't knock masturbation — it's sex with someone I love-Bisexuality immediately doubles your chances for a date on Saturday night.-Life doesn't imitate art, it imitates bad television.-Confidence is what you have before you understand the problem.-You can live to be a hundred if you give up all the things that make you want to live to be a hundred.-Sex is only dirty if it's done right.-I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members.-The problem is that God gives men a brain and a penis, and only enough blood to run one at a time.-It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.-If at first you don't succeed, blame it on your parents.-Rehab is for quitters-When you come to a fork in the road, take it!-Can relate to people who spend 98% of their money on booze and chicks, and the other 2% that they waste foolishly.-If ignorance is bliss, why aren't there more happy people?"To the world, you may be one person, but to one person, you may be the world.""You laugh at me because I'm different, but I laugh at you because you're all the same." "Live every day to its fullest so that when you die, you can stand in front of God or whatever you believe in and be satisfied that you fullfilled your purpose."-Live with no excuses and love with no regrets -If I could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes, only then would you realize how special you are to me... -It's only after someone is gone do you realize how much you miss them... -There comes a point in your life when you realize who really matters, who never did, and who always will. -Sometimes you need to run away just to see who will come after you-Never explain yourself. Your friends don’t need it and your enemies won’t believe it. -Sitting next to you doing absolutely nothing, means absolutely everything to me-Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why its called the present.-A man wants to be a woman's first love, a woman wants to be his last. -Everyone in life is gonna hurt you, you just have to figure out which people are worth the pain.We spend too much time living in the ‘what if’ and need to learn to live in the ‘what is.’ Quit hanging on to the handrails . . . Let go. Surrender. Go for the ride of your life. Do it every day.It is not the years in your life but the life in your years that counts. Don't wait for some magic gift. Share what you are, dare to be vulnerable, and you will find people who count you among their deepest friendsThere is the risk you cannot afford to take and there is the risk you cannot afford not to take.Don't be afraid your life will end; be afraid that it will never begin. It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.Beauty is skin deep but ugliness is right to the bone! Sunglasses allow an individual to stare at people without them knowing. It's like facebook in real life! (So true for me!!!!!) - People say you can't live without love...I think oxygen is more important.
- You know when you've found it 'cause you feel it when they take it away.
- Love... - Is to stay, when all your body cells are shouting:"Run!!!"
- A lifelong friend is someone you haven't borrowed money from yet.
- The art of giving advice to best friends is to make them believe that they thought of it themselves.
- Face your problems don't Facebook your problems.
- Deleting your Facebook is like running away from home. You're only doing it for attention and you'll be back in a day.

- Only in America are "poor" people fat
- Your body is the baggage you must carry through life. The more excess the baggage, the shorter the trip.
- When I miss you, I re-read our old conversations and smile like an idiot.
- I miss you like the priests miss the alter boys.
- I miss you like I missed my ex wife; but my aim is getting better!
- A relationship with no trust is like a cell phone with no service, all you can do is play games.

- Someone introduce me to whoever invented Mornings. I will beat the shit out of them.
- Fat people are harder to kidnap.
- Nothing makes me want a relationship to fail more than matching profile pictures.
- The only thing preventing me from smashing my alarm clock this morning is the fact that its my cellphone.
- Some days I think that I would be much happier if I were single...and all the other days I know it for sure.

A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving.

The most precious thing u can give a family member, friend or anyone is your time!! Cuz we all only have so much of it in our Life here before the Big Guy upstairs comes a callin'! So when we visit/hang out with someone we are in fact giving them an awesome Gift - a precious commodity in our life - our TIME! Hell if u were to ask your grandparents what they would like best from u! They’d probably say spending time with them!! So instead of taking them a cheesy useless gift just think if u visit them that they’d be very happy! Cuz if u’ve ever been a patient in a hospital than try to remember how much of a treat it was when someone came to visit u to break up your long monotonous day? Cuz think of what my brother used to say when visiting my Mom “My Presence is their Present!!!”

So screw spending big bucks getting some e$$pensive gift for peep! Just call/text or visit them and hang with them cuz it will do both of u a world of good!

This is one of the things I learned while visiting India last month as hoped to get some Spiritual Enlightenment! Yeah OK so the Indian & most people want/could use $$$ to help them survive & have a better quality of Life! So tried to help my good friends in poorer countries but realized that helping people with $$ is cool if u can afford it ! But I couldn’t so had to cut my trip short!! Shit not a Do Gooder or whatever but just really wanted to help them out as it made me feel a lot better than spending another month or so of traveling!

I like to think of it sort of like the proverb “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime!” Which is rather than buying them useless crap or givin' them cash to pay their rent/food/or whatever well maybe take a couple hrs from your busy day to spend time with them which may be better appreciated! Monetary $$ help may give them temporary assistance but they'll forget it soon while spending a few hrs hangin' with them is something they'll remember for a long time & maybe in some cases permanently!! Cuz like one of my beliefs in life!
-People will forget what you said & did. But they will never forget how you made them feel.

But don’t be so egotistical to think just your spending time with peep is OK just remember that some quality time would be a lot more cool! Yeah so it may not feed the poor or down and out peep but they may realize that u made the effort to go out of your way & take time to hang with them! So they may realize that u brought them an awesome gift "The gift of u'r precious Time" Anyone should appreciate the effort and time you took to spend time in your day!!!
Life's a journey not a destination! Been in a married relationship and tho we aren't anymore! Well my x wife is my best friend but have difficulty living together so we gave each other our freedom as life is too short for petty quarrels & problems! So now am free to do whatever, whenever & however I want to do for as long as I want. So my choice is check out other areas and ppl as may ultimately move to some cheap, chilled place to hang out and maybe volunteer to help underprivileged ppl one day, inshallah!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hell can't travel all the time so nice to meet people traveling thru Vancouver & show them the city. I try and host as many couch surfers as I can but unfortunately have a very small apt so can't host many or for long as it can start to be a bit claustrophobic. But unlike many local CS'ers well don't attend too many CS meetings as hope I have a life!!!!

I found this description of the perfect couch to surf so hope they don't mind me borrowing it. Cus hell sometimes I've had to resort to this couch cus been too late to request a couch or some people may think who wants to host a person like this!!!!

"The couch where I some times had to crash is great, it has no walls & no ceiling around it and everybody here finds room on it.
I can't offer it to you, because you're already living on it, but please feel invited to walk, jump, sleep, dance and somersault with me over its natural covers and blankets."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted also stayed at and hung out with couch surfers in Eastern Europe & elsewhere. My problem is I don't plan too much so find it hard to line up a Couch Surfing gig cus can't give much notice. So heck am just as happy to just meet cool CS in areas & just hang with them as had some awesome experiences & times! So I've enjoyed CS as great to meet new travelers & found them very fun and nice to hang out!

Had a French friend from Paris come surf in my humble abode for a week who ended up staying for 2 1/2 months! We had an awesome time hanging out enjoying ourselves! Also hosted a lot of other cool people from couples and single people as it's like entertaining! Yeah had a guy and chick from Latvia who became good friends! Then some other couples stay with me and enjoyed showing them around Vancouver. Done my share of hosting people alone too! But lately been traveling and when return home well usually just want to chill on my own but like to meet up with new people! Also helped people by either lending them one of my bikes or arrange my buddy to lend them one! I just firmly believe in helping new people to the area cuz hell I've bin dar dun dat on the global highway of life cuz it'a all good fun!

I've stayed with hosts who operated a hostel. In fact it's happened a couple times! Yeah so got hosted in a hostel in Tallinn, Estonia by a traveller taking a break to make some cash! Surfed in a apt with my host & 4 of her roommates. As got invited to CS at these medical students in Warsaw, Poland! Also was accepted to be hosted by 2 CS'ers in Mamama, Bahrain! Unfortunately the f*ckin' airlines changed my itinerary so had to contact them to cancel my visit! That kinda sucked!

But my of my most memorable experiences was getting hosted by my Latvian friend and her entire family in Riga. I had every intention to stay at a hostel in Riga as don't always want to be hosted when I'm passing thru a city! But my friend invited me to stay with her family as she just returned home to Riga herself after a working holiday in Canada for a year! The entire family accepted an idiot like me as part of the family. Hell even her dog liked me and let me take her for a walk! Shit when I left there I felt I was leaving behind some very good friends! So I want to go back and visit them again!

Also had a similar experience staying with my German friend A at her parent's home in Berchtesgaden a beautiful village in the Bavarian Alps! Check this video as it kind of reminds me of the village! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45wmyMgyZuY&feature=related Yeah Ok so it's a beautiful Christmas video in a snowy setting but it's very similar to & beautiful like Berchtesgaden.

Those 2 experience were so cool as I was hosted by the parents and family of a friend who I met traveling as they were so hospitable and kind to a complete weird idiot like me! Those experiences really made me appreciate what CS is all about cus the parents and family members (not CS'ers) were kind enough to allow me to stay at their home cus I am a friend of their daughter! Shit not too many parents or families would want a complete stranger to stay at their place!

Also it was so cool to get hosted by an American traveler who stopped traveling to work in a Hostel in Estonia! He offered me the couch in the manager's office while other paying guests stayed in the beds! Also got hosted in a random meet up with a Portuguese guy, an Austrian chick and 2 French all Eramus Medical students in their flat in Warsaw Poland! I met the Portuguese guy in a hostel in Lithuania! When he found out I was headed to Warsaw he offered his room to me as he was also traveling! So he called his Austrian flatmate and told her he offered his room to me! So I talked to her for a while on Facebook and she agreed to host me out of the blue! That Randon Act of Kindness and generosity were real awesome Couch Surfing experiences even for someone like me!

What I enjoy most about CSing is meeting cool like minded interesting peep local to a country, city or area when travelin’! Hell when was in Prague decided wanted to meet locals to hang with so on a whim posted a thread on the CSing forum! What was awesome was a guy replied saying

“Hi Tomyo,

my name is Jan and I'm quite sure you won't remember me, but we met and blazed at one particular Tuesday CS meetup @ Yale back in good old Vansterdam, few months ago :)

I'm back in Czech since the beginning of September. I'm from the city of Chrudim in Eastern Bohemia, but I'm studying here in Prague and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw your post and the familiar face at our local CS group!! :D :D

If you'd like to hang out and do stuff, write me back!

For example, today, I'm planning to go to Strahov (that's a hill in Prague where is the campus of my university) to Club 007, where one Czech underground rapper, called BONUS, plans to release a brand new album. Also, there will be U.S. group called SOLE AND THE SKYRIDER BAND. I've never heard of them, but at least you wouldn't have to listen to Czech language all night long :P ... The club is quite big, 420 friendly and cheap.

But unfortunately, I can't host you here in Prague, because my aunt is at home now :(

I tried writing you a text message to your number, but it didn't get through. Anyways, my number is +420 737 932 788
BTW, don't you just love Czech calling code? :P

Take care, man!
-J.”
I find if a person is open, friendly & flexible then everything works out OK!

Interests

Btw hope u don’t think my life revolves around weed! Yeah like really enjoy chillin' doing a spliff, dube, 420, ganja or a pipa full a lot better than having a drink & as dislike it as most peep become aggressive! But actually my life revolves around traveling, doing things or being outdoors, meeting & hangin' wit chill peep & f*ckin’ doing BLEJA (Serbian word for hanging out doing f*ck all! It beats the hell out of what the Japanese people do! Cuz there’s actually a word in Japanese (Kaoshi) which means “dying from overwork”! So guess what I enjoy doing? LOL! Yeah so love doing BLEJA the Serbian word for hanging out with who ever doing nothing cuz that's what I do best!l

My interests are meeting new ppl from around the world, doing things outdoors like biking, hiking, climbing, walking, running, exploring, meeting new cool ppl in an area & going to festivals. Like to listen to music of all kinds & dance but not at clubs but bars, concerts or festivals. Also like to hang out with 420 friendly ppl but not a requirement as long as they can understand!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all movies but mostly action movies and old black & white movies from the 40's & 50's ie Humphrey Bogart - Bogie, Katherine Hepburn, Jimmy Cagney, Gary Cooper, John Wayne, James Dean, etc. Love my action movies cuz to me movies are an Escapism so love Action movies but mostly not computer generated!

Really enjoy this movie as been sort of diagnosed with OCD but not a bigot or complete jerk like Jack!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/As_Good_as_It_Gets
Can kinda relate to some stupid remarks he makes
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119822/quotes

One of my all time fave movies partly cuz it's a western & becuz of the friendly banter that flows between Butch & the Kid as they are being chased!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butch_Cassidy_and_the_Sundance_Kid

Love my mp3 & ipod as one of them is always with me and never leave home without it! I listen to it when traveling, on buses, planes, trains, biking, etc. I have an Ipod touch, 2 Creative Zen mp3 players & an 80 Classic Ipod/fake ipod which some dude ripped me off cuz was too tight & bought a used one which didn't work after a day! But wtf it's become a joke to moi!

I like to listen to Reggae, African reggae, hip hop, rap, world music, etc but always open to new music and music from foreign county. But if at a bar, club or festival will listen to reggaeton & techno but not on my mp3.

My music variety covers a lot of genre's and some real moving music which I listen to if I ever have a bad day and they make me appreciate life and what I have.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1bFr2SWP1I&feature=fvw

This song and video are probably what my life is about and when I listen to it well it gives me goose bumps as it's so true to how I feel
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouANEo2w0Pg

But hell my MP3 & Ipod touch players have a wide range of music from all over the world that I love depending on my mood and the situation.

Love to listen to live music and dance so most of my time is spent chasing down concerts & festivals of various types!

Right now my favorite author is Stephen Hunter an American author about this guy from Arkansas who was in Vietnam and his father was soldier in Pacific. Now they are cops. Like the stories but find it hard to get my shit together to read all the time.

Also like biographies

But got a couple of books for Christmas like "Into the Wild"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Into_the_Wild
as it personifies how I view Life and how I probably travel and exist! Not sure if I want to end up like the dude but the way I live life don't be surprised!!

Also got the "The official High Times 'Pot Smoker's Handbook'"'
http://hightimes.com/microsites/handbook/chap2.inc.php
featuring 420 Things to do when you're stoned! So that should make for some interesting reading and keep me occupied for the next 5 years exploring the things to do!!!!

So guess will be occupied doing some reading & activities in the next year or more!!! Dam hope it doesn't impact my traveling!!!

Enjoyed “The Razor’s Edge" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Razor%27s_Edge The book inspired & got me thinking about the reason/meaning of our lives! So like the guy in the book may head to India again for a little Spiritual Enlightenment to better understand life! Hell already think like the guy in the book except didn’t go thru a war but can understand a bit as my son just returned from Afghanistan!

I just started reading "Shantaram" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shantaram_%28novel%29 which I'll read when I'm on my next trip! Cuz it is about an escape convict from Australia who lives in Bombay/Mumbai India! It kind of reminds me of my travels thru places like Bombay! It's not cuz I'm a thief, drug dealer or whatever. But cuz I seem to be in the same world as the guy!!! Should be awesome company when I travel!!! So when I'm reading a book I really enjoy well I cherish the story, take my time to savor the story as I'm worried it will end too soon!!!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experienced what amounted to like a real life "Harold & Kumar escape from Guantanamo" while in Ethiopia! Won't go into details but if u've seen the movie well you'll know the kind of stupid adventure that was & how crazy I was!!

Hitch hiked thru parts of Iraqi Kurdistan to meet some awesome friendly ppl! They kept asking why did u come to Iraq? My answer was "Cus I could"! When ppl ask how long I'm going to be some where while traveling my answer is "as long as it takes".

One strange & maybe disturbing sight I saw was while working in Saudi Arabia we went camping one weekend. We came to this village on the Sabbath and saw a person being beheaded in the public square. Made me appreciate the saying 'that person has their head on straight!"

My Dutch buddy Snake and I rode on the back of motorbikes to the start of the so called 6 day Trek to the Lost City in Columbia. Then we managed to do the trek in 4 days after skipping 1 day and meeting up with 4 cool hikers from Europe! The hike was awesome as it rained so the trail became a river! Still haven't seen the Lost City as it's all about the trek not the destination! Unlike Machu Pichu in Peru which is about the destination and not the hike!! But both are awesome!

Sky Dived (course not solo cus they wouldn't let an idiot like me out alone)over the North Shore ocean in Hawaii from 12000 ft. The biggest rush was jumping out of the plane & wondering what the fuck did I just do! It was amazing to free fall & hear all the wind noise, then pulling the cord which was like a sudden stop &then the complete silence while watching the beautiful blue ocean below, floating thru the odd cloud and the direct landing on the spot we were going for on the ground! The cool thing was the price of $99 which was a helluva lot cheaper than the cheesy Polynesian Festival or whatever!! http://stuffforblogging.blogspot.com/2009/04/sky-diving-in-hawaii.html

Paragliding off a mtn in Merida, Venezuela for 30 mins floating up and down the mtn side while watching other gliders float by!

Rode in the co pilot's seat of a bubble helicopter & experienced the feeling of riding face down to the ocean while flying out to a iron ore freighter to ride back as the harbor pilot guided the ship back. Did this in Port Hedland Western Australia while working for a Mining company!

Volcano boarded in Nicaragua and climbed up to a live volcano in Guatemala!

In Grenada, Nicaragua met 4 crazy Canadian guys in a band (called Boom Boom) jamming on a street corner. Then met them later in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua playing in a bar. Got shitfaced & ended up traveling with them, a French chick & Brazilian guy in their 1972 motorhome with all the equipment from Nicaragua to Pavona by the border of Costa Rica & Panama. So hung out with them for 7 days for Christmas! The wild thing was they were also from my home of Vancouver & had driven their motor home all the way to Central America, hell still run into them at various gigs!

Got busted for smoking weed in Zanzibar in Tanzania, Africa! Asshole said he was a cop(probably just a scammer but is it worth the risk?) & wanted $150 or he'd throw me in jail so wasn't really worried! But then thought shit man don't want to be some big African's bitch (didn't want to find out if all those stories of the size were true!!)so talked the dude down to $7 & smoked my stuff in a different spot!!! Thank God it wasn't in the Excited States of America or would have got the death penalty & my next of kins for the next 5 generations would be banned from going there the conservative backward Fu*kin Assholes!!!!

Spent 3 days on a rickity old Indian bus (not my favorite transportation) going up some awesome mtn roads with 6 meter snow piled by the road to get to Leh in Leddah India! Awesome place with all the monasteries and skies filled with so many stars & no electricity!!!

Climbed Mt. Killamanjaro in Africa and survived the extreme altitude sickness on the last day as many ppl can't handle the sickness! But the most amazing thing was my mates being able to talk me into spending like about $1200 that the Tanzanian gov't squeezes out of each hiker, what a rip off!! But hell did cuz of my mates & for the experience as it's not worth that amount!! Read how a football player described the hike. "It was a 7 day (took us 5) hike that ascends up close to 20,000 feet. Once you hit about 12,000 feet it becomes difficult to breathe and you get extremely tired very easy. Out of those 7 days there are 2 very, very difficult days that were both physically and mentally exhausting. The way I would describe it is it’s like doing the stairmaster on the hardest level for 10 hours straight while breathing through a straw!!". Man did he do the same hike as us? As it wasn't that strenuous but the altitude sickness really affected us!

While volunteering in Kenya for 5 months I checked out a safari in Masai Mara which was awesome! But what was even more awesome was camping in a tent near Lake Nakuru where dangerous Hippos live. Then doing a sole bike ride thru the Nakuru Game Reserve surrounded by giraffes, zebras, monkeys, wildebeest and other less dangerous animals. Had such a chill experience listening to some cool Music while biking thru this big Game Reserve. Then to top it off hiked thru a narrow canyon to swim & hang out by several waterfalls!

Also when was biking in Katmandu saw a leg hanging out of a big bonfire as they were cremating a body!

Picked a random deserted island to camp in a tent for a week off the coast of Queensland, Aussie. It was idyllic, beautiful beaches, jungle, deserted/uninhabited (so we thought) and we had a great time just hanging out. But by the 3rd or 4th day our friggin water supply (were such idiots to store it in plastic containers) started to turn rancid but we kept drinkin it until felt so sick that felt we were dying! So we stumbled thru the jungle looking for fresh water! Then after a hr we stumbled upon this bar/camp so proceeded to down a few beers! But our stomachs were so sketchy which caused us to have the worst barfing & diarrhea!!!

One of the most amazing things I did traveling was a Brazilian guy and I bummed/hitch hiked rides by boat from village to village down the Pacific Ocean side around Darian Gap. Most people either fly or take sail boats down the east coast or the Carrıibean side. It was an amazing trip that took us 12 days and to top it off I can't speak Spanısh.

Had a crazy, wild time with cops & robbers in Bocas Del Toro a group of islands off the coast of Panama! Got shit faced one night & lost my camera! Next day a cop stopped me randomly on a street & told my friend & I that they have my camera! They took us down to the station as they picked up this Panamanian dude who had no ID but had my camera (never found out how he got it cus only know a little Spanglish). They checked the pics on it & saw pics of moi so amazingly they recognized me!!! But had to prove it was mine so luckily my friend had probably same pics on hers! Saw this poor guy in handcuffs and leg chains & found out he was the schumck who had my camera!
Then next night had a guy threaten to blow my head off over a misunderstanding lol (rather not get into details)!!

Another amazıng trıp I took was goıng to vısıt Tımbucktoo ın eastern part of Malı ın the deserts of West Afrıca. Ive always wanted to go to that mystıcal place and I dıd - awesome but hot and dusty trıp by road!

When in northern Thailand up by the Golden Triangle where the countries of Thailand, Burma/Myanmar/Laos meet! We stayed with some hill tribe people in their farm huts on stilts! All the farmers lay on the floor with their pipes to smoke opium every morning before going off to the fields! So got to experience opium with them but didn’t get off on it but sure if I kept trying I would have cuz hell 1000's of peep do! Also saw something hangin in their huts (but not in their mouth)! I thought they were smoking chicken! But turns out it was field Rats which when smoked tasted like chicken or rabbit but with a lot of ginger! Hell I’ll try anything once and hey tho not a big meat eater but a big time lover of experiencing things and adventures! So yeah so who cares if it was Rat meat cuz if they hadn’t told me wouldn’t have known as basically don’t care what I eat as long I don’t get Bangkok Belly!! Oh yeah what was cooler was finding out why I think the huts are built on stilts!! Cuz there are holes in the floor for shoving garbage and human wastes down! So u may not want to look thru the holes cuz u’ll see all the pigs and chickens busy eating the droppings! Now I realize why got turned off eating pork & bacon and now eat mostly veggies!! LOL

This was not so much an amazing thing I did but a cool cultural experience of respect & duty I experienced while travelin’ in Japan!! Was visiting this guy who met when he came as an university student on an exchange to Canada! He lives in Fukoka on the island of Kyushu in southern Japan! Well after visiting him we wanted to check out Osaka on the island of Honshu! Well my friend who’s now a Physical Ed teacher at Fukuoka University aka Fuk U! LOL Anyway he tells us! Hey if u go to Osaka I’ll call up my former student & he’ll look after u! Well shit didn’t know the dude from Adam so said hey don’t bother we’ll make out OK!! But he calls his former student & tells the poor schmuck! A tomodachi/friend is coming to Osaka so could u look after him! Guess in Japan the students and it seems former students respect & do whatever their teacher/sensei say as they obey and do whatever their teacher tells them! Hell u’d never see this happen in Canada cuz hell maybe in some cases former students will really mean mouth their teachers as there is NO or little respect for teachers or people of importance!

So when we got to Osaka we called the student from the Shinkansen / Bullet Train station as my friend told us to do! Didn’t realize that the dude couldn’t speak much if any English & our Japanese was pretty much 0 & like most arrogant English Only speaking idiots we didn’t attempt to learn Japanese or use a phrase book! So I told the student who I was as he was expecting us so tells me “one moment please” which I thought meant he had to go to the bathroom or something! So here we are plugging a whole bunch of bloody Yens into the phone so we kept the connection! So what happens but after about 10 mins of frustratingly plugging the phone well the dude shows up to pick us up, like Duh? He’s like nervous as hell cuz of his limited English & we also found that his wife is having a baby and staying with her Mom as it’s their first! So he’s on his own so went out and bought a big ass tray of western sandwiches which I’m sure probably cost him like $100 in Japan! Hell we would much rather eat Japanese food than shitty sandwiches but we grinned and beared it! Cuz shit wouldn’t have called him if I knew what was happening! But we had a cool fun visit as the dude had a great sense of humor even with a language barrier! So if you make an effort and treat peep respectfully hell it all works out – even in Japan which for all it’s moderniztion has a far different culture which I really got to love, respect and enjoy!!

Got hypnotized to try & get rid of a bad itch as picked up a bad rash & itch in Africa so couldn’t continue my north to south trip thru Africa ! Got rid of the rash in time but after 8 months & visits to an Allergist, Dermatologist & Tropical Disease Doctor got no medical explanation & couldn`t shake the Itch!! So figured it may be all in my head & went to a Clinical Hypnotist to give my head a shake so to speak! It`s a cool experience (love new ones) to find out & be put into various levels of consciousness! Realize that the human mind is so complex & yet so fragile! Still haven`t completed my sessions but the money is worth the experiencing the trip as treating it like all my other trips! lol

Got to hear the 14th Dalai Lima speak about World Peace while passing thru Toronto as coincidently as he was speaking there! He’s been Dalai Lama for like 60 yrs so is speaking of stepping down soon so feel privileged to be in his audience! He’s so well respected, humble, wise with just an awesome views on life! Don’t usually do motivational speaker stuff but hey this Dude has so much wisdom & experiences in Life that can’t help but want to listen to what he has to say! http://www.buddhanet.net/e-learning/5minbud.htm
Not big into Religion or know much about Buddhism but what I do know is like their philosophy! So if I turn to any religion it may be Buddhism as believe in their views on Life! While in NYC a few years back & coincidently got to see the Pope pass by in his Pope mobile! But his presence didn’t impress me much but with all respects to Catholics I didn’t get to hear him speak!

Many of the most amazing things I've seen or done have come while budget traveling/backpacking! Cuz in many countries budget traveling is like Exploring/Camping in the Wild West 100 years ago!! It’s an adventure as you have to forage/search for food, water & shelter!! OK shit so we can go to a supermarket for food & water plus usually head to a couch surf or hostel (if we can make plans ahead of time) for a bed! But shit usually u can’t speak or read most languages so u have to use sign language! So u don’t know what food u’r buying/eating even though it won’t poison u! U get off a... bus or train in a strange city & have to search for a couch surfer’s home, maybe a hostel or where ever in the dark & maybe rain/cold! Hell u have to fight off predators waiting to attack u & rob u & if u’r lucky u'll just get pick pocketed!! So shit man u have to be on top of your game, be street smart & not hung over or u’ll be f*cked over AKA robbed of your passport, belongings & cash! Yeah I’m talking from some past experiences!

OK so u ask why the fu*ck would anyone want to travel to sketchy, out of the way places? Well we do it for the adventure as it’s like seeing what’s over the next hill or mtn!! Hell these days you have to search for the Wild West in places like Africa, Central Asia, Russia, South America, etc! Yeah there are times u may wish u were at home with a cold beer! But shit man life isn’t about sitting in your warm home watching some shit ass TV show, movie or sports! Cuz everyone's life is an adventure but some of us want to spice if up with different experiences to get our adrenaline going!!! But probably the best thing is the awesome, interesting, cool people u meet along the road in most places both locals and other travelers!!! I especially enjoy time spent with the friendly hospitable Couch Surfers (not necessarily to be hosted but to hang out with them & to learn from them) as we're all members of the same World Wide community as we all have the same interest of helping people to enjoy traveling!!

Teach, Learn, Share

CAN TEACH ANYONE how to do BLEJA which is the Serbian word for hanging out doing nothing cuz that's what I do best!l

Firm believer of Carpe Diem! Interesting cool people from foreign countries so can learn about their country, home and culture! The wilder and crazier the better! cus hell if I wanted to meet boring ppl hell I could hang out by myself ha ha!!

Can teach ppl how to make some awesome Ganja Tea, cookies or some other cool food. Also can make some real food!!!

Plan to take a Bartender course with a friend so can travel & get a job working in a bar to support my travel habit! Also hope to take an online TESOL course to teach English in a foreign country too! My friend & I have discussed doing it together but don't want to count on getting rich doing this while traveling!! But should be cool to do especially with my good friend (if we can score a job) as it should be a hoot doing it! Neither of us want to do what we graduated as we want a change in the type of jobs we do!!!
