About Me

"For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move."

I've been hosting for the longest time. At this point I'm in a situation where I can't fit anyone at home.

I am extremely easy going and open-minded, with a big sense of humor. Just like you, my appetite for travel is endless. I found that sharing travel adventures with other people makes them much more interesting.
Who doesn't live imaginary adventures in their dreams?

~

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I come from a culture where hospitality is a way of life. My grandmother, living in a province in Argentina, had her house full of guests most of the time.
One memory I have engraved is about a German traveler who came to set camp in the park where we were spending the evening. I'm talking when I was about eight years old around 1980. My grandmother invited him home (she wasn't going to take no for an answer). He spent a couple of days narrating in great Spanish his motorcycle adventure from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego.
Her home was a magnet for friends and family. I remember the mattresses covering every inch of her living room.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in 2009 I started a six month trip through 13 countries with my motorcycle. Here's proof that those dreams can come alive for everyone. Trust me, if I did it, anyone can do it. Yes, regardless of what my mom says, I am not that special.
