KC Low

 

Low is a very positive and open minded person. I like talking with him as well as enjoying simple things like cooking together or going for a walk. At work we used to cooperate on regular basis. Later on I enjoyed visiting him as a friend.

Despite the initial 1-day request, KC has been kind enough to provide us with a last-min 2-days stay. (Thanks also to his flatmate, Anisa for the additional bed.) Thankz for the night-tour. It's comfortable to talk and have a chat with him. Hope to see you in the future. Maybe back in Malaysia or in Ukraine? :P

Hey, finally I get to write a few lines about this great fella! :) He hosted my boyfriend and me in KL and made us really feel at home. He cruised with us through the city and showed us cool places - yeah! On top he is always up for a conversation about pretty much everything. We just clicked and will definitely meet again someday!

KC is a nice man that we can talk in our own language in europe !haha so happy and funny. we have a nice holiday and thanks for ur warm gift! hope to see u next time!and if u come hk i would like to take u taste the real hk food!

KC is a very dedicated young man and it was pure fun to hang out with him.You got so many stories to tell so you have to come again defenetely!You`ve got a big heart and you are welcome to stay at my place anytime again.Even without a request ;-)We keep in touch, my friend.

KC was a really nice person to meet, sadly he had to flight back very soon, so we did not had the occasion to share a lot.
That gives him a reason to come back, he is so welcome here !

 

KC was my first guest, and I couldn't have had a better experience. First he politely called me to say he was late and if I was ok with that. Then we went through town, he cooked us dinner and when we ended up in a gay bar he didn't even complain :) Technically he hasn't even surfed my couch because we were out partying the whole night, hehe. I had a great time! Cheers KC, and maybe see you next week ;)

He was my co-pilot and co-beer-taster at the event. He seems like the type of person who is always eager to learn new things and is always willing to share his knowledge. Hope to see you again sometime (I'll prepare the vegetarian dish then)

Was really nice talking to KC and yeah we share the same language makes us closer. Had a fun time with him during the brewery meeting and hope to see him again soon in Antwerp eating Dosa :)) cheers man!! keep having fun

I met KC at the Gentse Feesten when he attended one of our meetings. As soon as you meet him you notice he's an energetic, sociable and joyful person... as the festival was quite hectic we didn't get to talk that much but I'm sure we'll meet again !

 

KC is an interesting guy; we talked and shared a lot of experience of eastern and western countries. I hope to share more with him in the near future!
and KC, my friends say I'm a good cook :)

I met KC several times now and I must say : I really like this guy ! :-).
He arrived just a few weeks in my town but he became a very active CS-member. Since he did the same thing as me (abandoning his job for doing something more usefull) I immediately felt comfortable talking to him. And we can talk about a lot of things together ! I definitely gonna meet this positive, cheerfull guy a lot in the coming weeks. Terimakasi, KC ! :-)

 

I met KC on several meetings here in Antwerp. He's a compleet cool dude ! Always ready to give a different opion of thinking. He's is full of energy and open-mindness. I really like when KC is around. Hope to see you more @ the meetings here in Antwerp

 

KC was the first person to respond to my request for a couch in KL. Even though we had less than a day together, he made it really count. What I really like about him is his sense of humor and his ability to break ice real quick. He makes for interesting conversation and a great guy to spend time with.

I like KC! He's calm as a willow and fun as a chipmunk. Point is.... he's great!!!
PS: i tried to vouch you 3 times but CS said i can't like someone that much. So there....

 

Thank you KC so much for the extra room at your place in KL. I don't we didn't have enough time to really hang out or talk much, but thank you anyways for the nice accommodation and picking me up. He is a great guy and has a great place outside the bustling city of KL!

KC welcome us few days in KL, and we felt totally at home with him. We enjoyed lot of discuss and dinner together. Even busy and with an impredicted coming back from our part, he still found time to rescue us. Hope to have opportunity to meet him again somewhere

Even i was a littly crazy this days, doing a lot of things,he host me and he was very kind and helpfull, also his family,especialy Yi Yee, i'd like to have more time shared with him, maybe other time...

Kc put me up for the time i was in kuala lumpur, and i can honestly say he's the most genuine & lovely guy you could hope to meet! had such a good time hangin out, sampled vietnamese food for the first time, tried the smelly but surprisingly tasty durian fruit, stopped for desert 'malaysian style' early in the morning hehe...and i even managed to get him to see harry potter with me!!

a really awesome guy, i really enjoyed my time in kl..he even saved the day when he posted my camera charger to my hostel in borneo after i 'cleverly' left it behind...what a guy!!

Dude i cant never thank you man for introducing Ying to me! we all hit it off on the get go!!! there were many times that me and KC co-sharing the guest together! it was mental!!!well to be honest the time spend with him is never enough as we got so many stuffs to talk about!!because of him, i met my best aquiantance in life!!!keep rocking man!i'll remedy that we see each other again.

KC is a really cool laid back guy. I only wish we had had more time to hang out. Looking forward to seeing him on his home turf

KC is a great person, very genuine and great to talk to. I gave extremely short notice but he was kind to receive me, plus although we spent a very short time together, from his family I learnt what a great person he is. Extremely insightful and intelligent guy! Hope to meet up again!

He is the first guest who i hosted from Asia. to my surprise, I found so many things in common on our spirit which would be hardly founded on western people. See you again in malaysia!!!! Make up for our first hug:-)
I still can not believe that we met again in this May holiday, and he retured the favor to me, took care everything for me, we had great time together.
Now I am planning to visit malaysia again in this month!!!!!!!!

KC was a polite and friendly houseguest, and is a keen promoter of the Couchsurfing cause.

We met KC for lunch while we were passing through KL. He was interesting and funny, but we forgot to try speaking in Chinese! He'd be a great person to meet up with or surf with whenever you're in Kuala Lumpur. We'd meet up with him again anytime!

KC was polite, talkative, interessting. I had a nice time at his place.

KC picked me up after I arrived in KL and show me around. We ate together and wander around in Chinatown. Thank you Ed for your spirit & kindness.

 

KC, you're a great guy and a great tour guide. Thanks for taking us to such cool places and for the wade through the poo, roaches and rats. Anyone else and I would have refused, but you made it look like such fun!! I can't wait to reciprocate in our neighborhood - I'll start scouting some places now. Come and visit soon!

KC-He's a rocker, a muse, a great friend and an excellent host! We met through Cyril, our French guest, and voila, what do you know, we hit it off like old friends. We had some of the best conversations at 4am after a night of crazy Karaoke and food. Easy going, cool and extremely friendly-KC's one to look for when you want a fantastic stay in KL.

After a long time of hanging out together...

I must say that KC makes it to one of my close friends list. Our friendship may be short but we share an uncanny similar vision of life. We both want to inspire and make a difference..bit by bit. Some may find KC very honest and maybe even blunt, but that's how he is-strong, indomitable and speaks his mind. He is very visionary...and I won't be surprised if he turns out to be an icon someday. Hats off to you, big bro!

We hang around a couple of hours when hosting a friend from The States. Though it's short, but he gave me a positive vibration. Hope to hang out together more in the future! =)

KC...Met him through another CSer and had a great time, even though just for few hours! Definately looking forward to meet again to dig his little secret :P

KC was a wonderful host for my husband and I in KL. He has loads of maps and information about the city and met up with us to go to dinner in china town. we had lots of fun chatting and were greatful that he even came to pick us up after midnight and take us back to the train station at 5am. what a great guy!

 

KC was such a great host an a wonderful introduction to Malaysian culture and hospitality! Picked us up from downtown, took us to China town, dinner, nightclubs, even gave up his own bedroom for my friend Michelle and I! He is a leader that I hope to meet again. Thanks KC!

What could I say? I just had an excellent time with this guy. KC is a super cool lad, always ready for a drink and a very very interesting person. His points of view about life are just excellent ... and Oh Yes, I almost forgot that, he is THE singer of Kuala Lumpur, he should be the next "One in a million" Winner. Thanks for all the good time man and that burger was just perfect ;)

 

Deep thoughts and philosiphying. You know that you have a special person as a host, when the superficial get-to-know-phrases get skipped, when you talk about the important, about the interesting, about the essential. Low gave us insights into chinese history (and tea traditions ;), drove us through town and got us back safely. He brought us to places tourists seldom see (the stares of the locals proved it :) and showed us, what kind of wonderful food there is in Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur was different through him. And my world as well.

Keep up the good spirit, Low! And good luck with all your projects - world moving or not! :)

 

Low is a cool mate, always ready to get to know foreigners from all over the world..and knows where to go and have some tasssty local food!

KC is a very serious traveller that he likes to have a good understanding of a place before going on a trip. He is a very funny guy with lots to share. I enjoy every time sharing with him.

 

He took for a walk around chinatown in kuala lumpur, we drunk a beer, ate some food and shared a lot of experiences. Really nice guy!!

KC is a very nice person, who cares about you, the world, the environment etc. Is willing to show you around/assist you in anything. I wish there were (more) people like him in The Netherlands. I can feel the Buddha inside him.

KC-the forest ranger. everytime i see huge green trees, they would remind me of KC. not because he lives there but because the showed me that concrete and woods can blend together in a city-and thats only in KL! im very happy that he was able to show me around coz i learned so much from him especially about nature. cool guy, brought me to places that other people dont know about. definitely a person to visit and host as well. where's my halo-halo man? hahaha! take care and lets make that trip of ours happen! -james

Reference This. KC has a plan to change the world and I think it might jsut work. He put me up for a couple nights and talked about race politics in Malaysia until the wee hours. It was three weeks ago and I'm still thinking about it. If he comes knocking on your door I suggest you let him in.
