Couch Information
No couch currently available for surfing.
The couches are the short kind, but we have two twin beds in a room in the basement...free for you to make yours!! The house is large, right next to downtown, near the river, and very accessible to the good things of the West Side. We have a dog, do not smoke, have sleeping bags, and would love to do what we can to show you around Bend. We go to bed fairly early during the week, but love to cook and hang out together, and enjoy our weekends.

Born and raised in a small mountain town in Montana. İ love all that life has to offer...especially playing in Nature. I support the idea fully...people trusting and helping each other, even if all they have to offer is a moldy green couch.

I had a great stay with Lisa and her housemates while in Bend to watch a friend race in cyclocross nationals. They provided a very welcome environment, I couldnt have asked for a better initial exposure to couchsurfing, thanks Lisa!

Surfing with Lisa and her housemates was great. Very laid back people who made us feel right at home. Great location right near downtown and a great vibe in the house and the city in general. Stay with them if you get the chance. Thanks a lot Lisa!
Lisa and her housemates were incredibly accommodating during my time in Bend, and really helped to make Bend the highlight of my trip so far. They lent me a bike each day and completely lived by the "mi casa, tu casa" mentality. It was a bummer that Lisa had to work every day and we didn't get to hang out very much, but I couldn't have felt more at home at her place. Thanks again.
Lisa was awesome to host my friend Saamanta and I for the long weekend! Although we didn't get to hang out with her a whole lot, Lisa was still the most accommodating of hosts and introduced us to some of the wonderful foods (stuffed bananas!?!) and peoples of Bend. We had a random and amazing weekend down there and Lisa was the great facilitator!
Thanks again, Lisa, for hosting us! Get in touch the next time you come through Portland. We'd love to return the favor!

Lisa welcomed me to her home on short notice. We found we had quite a bit in common, and it was wonderful to spend time with her. Although it was a short visit, I very much appreciated her hospitality. I think Lisa is a beautiful and wise person, and I'm so glad we met. :)

Lisa and Kari were a pleasure to host! Very kind girls with great personalities. We had dinner and shared stories from our previous travels with a few jokes about whales and penguins. I wish them the best of luck on the rest of their journey! I think our paths will cross again soon. I highly recommend traveling with, or hosting Lisa and Kari. :)

Lisa is a very warm and caring individual. We met in Portugal and had an easy rapport. She is wise beyond her years!
WWe just spent one night together at another Surfer's home in Ireland and although she is so much younger than me we had a great contact right away; and I did appreciate she did contact me again afterwards. She is such a simple and easy-going person and we had fun cooking dinner together for our great host. And that song you sang for us at the pub was beautiful too! I sure hope we shall meet again, somewhere, someday... and you'll always be welcome at my place if you ever come to Croatia again.
