About Me
ABOUT ME
Not good at describing myself... Searching for freedom is my absolute quest, as well as traveling the world.
Having fun and blasts and laughing are part of my evryday life, it help me fighting the absurdity of life and keeping my abs in shape!!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm always searching some meaning behind each act, event, fact but I'm increasingly convinced that life doesn't hold one single universal meaning or purpose. Absurdity and nonsense are everywhere!
Everyone should live according to one's values, beliefs in pursuit of one's own happiness and freedom, while respecting any other fellow world citizens.
At least, that's what I'm trying to stick to!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
hosting, showing you around, meeting up for drinks. I used to be a volunteer translator for the CS website too.
D'avance MERCI.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pretty much eveything by Lynch, Alomdovar, Fatih Akin, Fincher, Soderbergh, Gus van Sant, Tarantino, Ronit Elkabetz, Todd Haynes... the list would be too long :)
TV shows: Twin Peaks (absolute masterpiece), The Good Wife, Dexter, Parks and Recreation, Weeds, 2 Broke Girls, Party Down, Desperate Housewives, Nurse JAckie and for cheesy: Grey's Anatomy, Gossip Girl
I like reading, but I don't have favorite writers... I enjoy essays (politics, society, philosophy), dramas, twisted stories and characters, ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
attended Power to Peace festival in San Francisco Golden Gate Park surrounded by ca. 100 000 people, where young ladies wandering around with whicker baskets were selling space muffins...
Had my first hitchhiking experience to reach the Dead Sea leaving from Jerusalem, and then slept under the stars by the Dead Sea on a rocky ground (not very comfy but unforgettable experience!)
Skipped a checkpoint in Palestine running through an unocevered field! Pretty unconscious when I recall it! :)
Teach, Learn, Share
My most noticeable competence would be in teaching English, German or French. And, more oddly, handling a soccer ball(juggling, dribbling, shooting)!:)
I have so much to learn, starting with: piano and guitar (always dreamt of being a rock star!!), some photography and video editing techniques, drawing (even just a cat:))...
I'd love to share about local politics and culture, cinema and arts in general.
