About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore and learn about as much of the world as possible without going broke.

ABOUT ME

We live downtown in Calgary. We traveled around the world together and still get along.

We're both really laid back people who keep our minds open, our beer close and have a lot of fun living life.

We do have 1 cat, Rambo

Together we are a fun, laid back pair of individuals who are really excited to join the couchsurfing community.

PHILOSOPHY

We really think learning is one of the most rewarding things you can do with your life and traveling is a way to get out of your comfort zone and grow a lot. New people offer new perspectives and being exposed to lots of cultures gives a broad view of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Mexico I went with biologists to do whale watching. They took us out on a small 10 person boat with a quiet motor.

We went out for 4 hours and were in awe of the humpback whales breaching out of the ocean.

We actually had a whale take interest in our boat, and it stopped, stuck it's face out of the water and looked at us with big, dark, intelligent eyes. After a few minutes it swam right under our boat and stopped. It's back arched and it raised its tail out of the water, hovered it for a few seconds and swam off. It was a euphoric experience.

The biologists use the money to fund their dolphin and whale research, so if you are ever in Puerta Vallarta take a trip with these guys, it's well worth your time.
