Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be travelling to Vietnam after Xmas this year in a hope to chase a dream I had & still do, to teach English a foreign language abroad. I would love to do some volunteer work &/or training in Vietnam, possibly end up teaching here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Without Couchsurfing & in my travels of Europe, my travels would have been a bit less exciting. Met so many people, most I now call friends & shared many more great experiences.
Its amazing how often I meet people travelling who I really click & have a great time with, only to find out shortly after that they are couchsurfers too!

Interests

Camping, surfing, bikes (motor & cycles), mountains, hiking, driving about & exploring my corner of the world, Modern History, Australian History & geography, attempting to play the drums & of course travelling & meeting new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Japan was a huge highlight for me. The food, cuture, people, music. Warszawa is a very inspirational city, along with Berlin. The history in both Germany & Poland is amazing yet sombering, but eye-opening.

Seoul is another great city full of great people, sport, culture, technology & amazing food & I think a very underated travel destination. Would love to spend more time there in the future.

Scotland (Agryll & Bute). Lived there for 7mnths. One place I can say I truey feel at home in my heart.

The Angkor Temples in Cambodia are amazing. A must see, but don't just stop there. Cambodia is an amazing place, full of amazing people.
