ABOUT ME

I just graduated from college with a degree in dance. I grew up in Maine, where "modern dance" is about as foreign of a word as winters are cold here. The grind and struggle and workaholism of NYC didn't appeal to me. So I'm taking off back to Australia where I studied abroad in my junior year, pursuing whatever dance opportunities I can find. My friend Rainer and I have a plan to backpack around the world from there. We'll see what happens. Spontaneity could be my middle name.
I love good music...let me rephrase that - I'm obsessed with music. Show me something incredible I've never heard before and I'll be a fast friend. Live music just sets my heart soaring.
I also can't stand to not be outside on a nice day. I could walk and explore streets, forests, and coastline for hours.
And wanderlust is a major part of me. I love to travel, I love meeting new people, and every time I see a plane overhead I want to be on it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed around Europe - through Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Dublin, and Galway. I think it's fantastic. I hate touristy things, and love being able to meet real people and experience real places for what they...really are.
