À propos de moi

ABOUT ME - If you don't get a response here please visit my Trustrootz profile. I'm not in London anymore we moved to a place just outside Machynlleth in Wales.
I'm a mixed up person.
I was born in the UK, went to school in Munich, Germany. I went to uni in the UK and Indonesia. I went back to Germany to work, then moved back to Indonesia.
Spent the last 12 years in London - now in Wales looking for a long term home.
I am a musician and song writer and perform/curate living room concerts.
I am a mother to two beautiful children (18 and 26).
I also work as an interpreter and translator and teach yoga.
I love to laugh, sing, travel..
I play the guitar.
I write songs- and busk this is what I sound
like: www.soundcloud.com/pandorasdiary
I love travelling and performing in different places around the world - meeting beautiful people and making music together - I'm always looking for new places to play - living rooms, hippy festivals and intimate venues.. and people to collab with...

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same." Marianne Williamson

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love hosting- it's a wonderful experience when the other person embraces the spirit of sharing conversations, a house, their experience, cooking together, making food together.
I have met lots of really interesting people through CS, and made some good friends too.
I like to meet other csers, especially other families and musicians.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had one member of hospitality club stay. In one short day, they inspired me to want to do more hosting and become a guest myself. Why?
When we host, we can see our own living area with new eyes.
Since that time, we have hosted and been hosted. Both experiences are unique and wonderful. I have met many wonderful, good, kind people. As one CS member said at a meeting: "It restores my trust in humanity" Indeed it has.
CS saved my life when I got stuck in Malaysia with very little cash- since then I've been giving back

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I believe that everything happens for a reason.
Change your life if you are not satisfied. It might take a long time- thousands of steps- but you CAN get there.

I can teach you some songs, or simple guitar chords. I can teach you German or Indonesian or English. I mainly eat vegetarian food but my son is a bit of a carnivore.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I can take you to an open mic, organise a concert for your garden or living room, or play you a song. Happy to cook you dinner.
I am also happy to teach English, help at home etc. - I couchsurf to learn :)
