About me... So, human being, girl, 29 y.o., living in Ostrava since childhood with some breaks.

I host together with my dog Barney.
Both of us love having guests around and to take care of them. Barney´s way of hosting is to play with everybody :).
I have studied Geology but I have been working in IT. Even changing fields, I admire nature and mountains. I love hiking, climbing and running. Outdoors just fits me.

My spare time is recently filled with sports and activities with friends. I love being active, walk somewhere to gain energy for social activities, boulder and climbing and I try to be creative... in which I fail most of the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CouchSurfing has become one of the most important parts of my life.

What it means to me:
- beginning of new friendships
- getting better knowledge about world
- showing my city to the others
- travelling and enthusiasm
- sharing stories, ideas, interesting facts about different cultures, etc

Interests

Umm, travelling maybe. I'm not sure... :D

One of my favorites is to show our guests around. Then talk, talk, talk and have fun! Once you will meet me you will see that I enjoy talking a lot. However, CS brings me always something new, and I know I have to listen carefully what other people say. That way I can learn and gain common experience. I've got whole new look at my city and its people throughout hosting. It's just so empowering to share ideas and stories, compare cultures. It is always a time well spent.

One thing is for sure - I like food and cooking so sharing recipies or cooking together is always a nicely spent time with other couchsurfers :)

Well, then we have to go running to burn calories. I love mountains and winter and I am a coffee person.

Music, Movies, and Books

I dont like to create lists like this because my selection changes a lot. Let´s save it for our meeting! :)

But I read a lot so here are few tips from my library. I like Murakami´s book, James Rollins, The adventures of Sherlock Holmes, encyclopedies about nature (because of the geology of course). Audiobooks are my favourite!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every day is just amazing but I think the most exciting one was flying a balloon! I was kinda scared in a wicker basket.
