About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to enjoy where I am right now

ABOUT ME

I'm from a big family in a small town. I have 4 sisters and one brother. I'm a Taurus. I love laughing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted in Seoul before and been hosted in Japan. The best use of Couchsurfing to me though is to meet new people who live in the countries I visit. It's so lovely to have someone show you around their hometown.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend and I stayed with some guys in Japan, who were wonderful hosts. They took us out to dinner and we drank together. Thanks so much to CS for making this community possible.

Interests

I like learning, traveling, theater (acting and watching), reading, singing, playing guitar, playing with my friends, EATING, drinking, going to museums, history, yoga.......I like doing everything actually.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm currently reading Predictally Irrational and I love it. It's very easy to read and behavioral economics is fascinating! Other favorites are Catch-22, and most everything by Margaret Atwood or David Sedaris. Pride and Prejudice is my all-time favorite book.

I love music!! My favorites are the Decemberists, Modest Mouse, the Strokes, Nickel Creek, First Aid Kit and the Tallest Man on Earth, but I have pretty eclectic tastes and I'm willing to listen to anything at least once.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Listening to children laugh: the universal language
Sitting in a boat going down the Mekong River
Hitchhiking in Kota Kinabalu
The view of Ankor Wat at sunrise

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing I've learned is that there are so many ways to do everything. There are so many ways to travel and so many ways to live. I am working hard to remember that everyone's ideas are valid and everyone has a different point of view.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, France, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

South Korea, United Kingdom, United States
