Awesome host...couldn't have found a better one...

Cynthia was already hosting someone so we couldn't stay in her apartment but she made us dinner and leant a bike so we could all go party. The next day she helped show a group of us around amsterdam and was very helpful. Cynthia is very friendly and fun and a great host!

Super nice, I still think back to the night we went to the grocery store, saw it was closed and decided to hit up the closest coffee shop instead for space cakes. Good times!

Helloooooo! Thank you Cynthia, it has been a very long time, since you told me about CS (Like 5yrs). And yes, absolutely we have to see each other in Guate again!

 

Cynthia is just a little wonderful energi-bomb, gotta love her. We met in Paris, very shortly and she came here with some friends later on and we had a blast.

Fucking great girl, and my first official nomadic ambassador since I became member. I hosted Cynthia and her friend Rebeca two nights, and those were by far the greatest once I had with CS-ers in Brussels in the last months. They are both lovely girls and amazingly easy-going! And Cynthia is even few times more active with CS then I am!!

Cyn is just amazing!!! there are not enough words to decribe her, but i think that friendly, good heart (well thats 2 words), caring, generous, etc etc... u can have a great talk with her, really interesting human being to meet hehe. showed me around, the chilling life, night life, guatemaltecan life. Met her briefly at a CS meeting in Amsterdam. Next day we met up at Club Rascal, an indiedisco with 6 hours of fantastic music. She's fun, and a great person to party with.

We've met in a couch surfing meeting, and she's a very good company to dance, and drink, and everything. Sometimes she complained about how the dutch people are so tall, and i told her that we have a good taste to some things ;) To resume, she is a super chica latina caliente.

Cynthia is a very crazy, laid-back and funny person. We had a nice time in a Pub in Amsterdam till like 7 am. She is a latina like myself, which makes her way cooler. Hope to see you soon someplace!

Cynthia was my first real couch surfing experience. She found us on the site and asked if we needed somewhere to stay. She took us in completely and made us feel right at home. Everything she did was aimed at making us feel safe and relaxed. We were spoilt by Cynthia in a way that I never expected from a stranger. We all got along perfectly from the start and had an amazing 2 days with her. My stay in Amsterdam was as wonderful as it was because of Cynthia's fun, happy, caring, enjoyable, care-free personality. I could not have asked for a better host. You would be a very lucky person if you got the chance to meet her.

We talked for some time during the workshops in the 888, and tried giving out free hugs in paris... didn't really work out, but it was fun =P

Cynthia is one of the kindest, sweetest and most generous people i have ever met. She hosted me and my girlfriend for 2 nights in amsterdam and treated us like royalty. she is an amaizing girl, so full of life and enjoy traveling around the world, I meet her trugh a friend , then we share flat in Antigua Guatemala,and now we are a relly good friends!! For sure you can count on her wen you need it!!

we met in Barcelona for a Free Hug event at Valintines Day. In the beginning we were 2 and then Cynthia came a little later and after a while there were like 20 people hugging and smiling all the time. We hugged for hours. In those days I started to learn spanish so we walked around at the beach and the olympic port where she imitated the statue doing a handstand (do u remember? :))

Few weeks later we met again at the Fallas Festival in Valencia and i could confirm the impression i had. Cynthia's big smile her spontaneity and her ability to spread her happiness to other people. You should become a ambassador for Guatemala ;)

We met in a bar on memorial day. Cynthia is a sweet girl, and it was good to have a chat with her. Unfortunately I had to divide my time between my brother, some old friends and my new couchsurfingfriends, but I'm sure we'll meet again in Amsterdam.

 

When having some drinks in a small bar in Amsterdam I got the chance of meeting Cynthia and have some very nice chats with her.
I really would like to get to know her better as she is the lightpoint in a dark bar.

 

Cynthia has a very open and nice personality... she's always in for a joke.. and a little bit loco..

Cynthia, a source of energy, of pureness u will not find to often. She is wonderfull, open, lovely and a superb host. She loooooves to have people around, loves to help out and to make new friends. She will be my friend forever. SHe hosted me for 2 months, were roommates for 2 months and i hosted her for 2 months....and we travelled together....and in all three experiences we had a GREAT time! Cynthia sent me a message when she was alone and desperate in Dordecht :) So we went to CS meetings and to Rotterdam. And well, I was there when she experienced her first snowfall, cigarette and we did a lot of cool things to nót get bored :D Cyn is really cool, energetic, friendly, always happy (except when it comes to Dordrecht) and a réal CS'er! Chihuahua hosted me in Guatemala City while I was en route to Antigua. She's full of positive energy -you can't help but smile when she's around! Rubs off on you. Very sweet girl and her aunt made us breakfast the following morning. I hope you got your visas and made it to Madrid, Cyn. :)

Ahh what can I say about Cynthia?! She is just too much fun! With her you will run around town dancing the night away with out noticing time passing and will laugh uncontrollably with out knowing why! And run away to the beach doing cart wheels and jumping off high objects! I can't to run into her in Europe so we can continue all our fun!

 

Cynthia was an awesome host. She introduced me to many people in Antigua and had plans for us every night in town. We salsa danced, watched fireworks from rooftops, and ate traditional Guatemalan food with good people. I wouldn't have such great experiences without her hospitality. She's nonstop fun!!

CHIWAWA!!!!!! met this little powerpack in antigua and from day one she kindly let me dominate her toilet for 10 days straight whilst i had amoebas. she was recruited as my personal nurse, assisstant, tour guide, spanish teacher, and all round helper. legend. x x x x

CHIWAWA as she is now known is a ickle legend! She had the privilege of hosting me for 10days and embraced me with loving arms! Great personality and is always there to help....do my washing, fix my phone, escort me to the shops. Would recommend anyone to surf with her!!

Will be seeing lots of her while in antigua as i have allowed her to be my secretary....because I can. ;)

I met her just by coincedence. I was having Spanish lessons in my school in Antigua, when suddenly a girl came into the school. I thought I recognized her...and then I knew: she was the couchsurf girl of Guatemala City where I had contact with some time before... After our meeting we went out and listened to a classical concert on the mainplaza of Antigua... Cynthia is nice, fun, friendly, positive, etc... Definately a real nice contact!

I met Cynthia in the Park in Antigua, and she was the best thing that happened to me on my trip! She was an unbelievable hostess and went out of her way to make sure that I was having a good time while in Antigua. She is an unbelievable person, and your life is not complete without meeting Cynthia!

Cynthia is just like me, a small girl with a huge personality! She has one of the most beautiful and happiest smiles I have ever seen and is always up for having fun. We met each other in Chile in 2006 and almost a year later I hosted her in Berlin. We had so much fun cooking, eating, dancing and meeting friends. Perhaps we'll meet again on travels to Central America or Europe.

She pretty much helped me while I was raising money to travel again. I spent really nice times with Estefan and Cynthia, although not long enough as I wanted. Great hosts, great people, enjoy them. Gracias con todo corazón.

Cyntia is one of the most hospitable people ive ever met. She made our stay in Antigua a million times better.

Cynthia is a great person to know. She's fun, energetic, and is the kind of person that you can split an order of pancakes with at Pollo Campero. At one point my friend and I accidentally ended up having to stay in Antigua, and on 3 hours notice let us stay with her again, and we had a great time. Ella tambien habla muy buen ingles.

 

I had a great time staying with Cynthia, it was very easy to get ahold of her and to leave and come back to her appartment. She was also very accommodating when my friend and I accidentally got stuck in Antigua on our way to Lago Atitlan, and we just kind of showed up.

 

Cynthia is a really funny girl, always smiling. I m happy to know you and I hope you will come to visit me in France! cuidate mucho!

we went on a volcano trip with a mutual friend and had a really nice day on the pacaya. shes really loco, but highly sympathic, lively, just a nice person! greets to sander, hope you both are fine !

 

I met Cynthia on my first trip to Guatemala, then less than a year later I returned and became her flatmate. We´ve traveled together and lived together, and we know each other pretty damn well. Cynthia is the kind of person that you only meet a couple times in life. She always has a smile for you, and she will do whatever she can to make sure that you are happy and enjoying life. If you ever have the opportunity to surf/host/meet Cynthia you should consider yourself lucky. I don't know the right words to do her justice. Que buenísima onda! When Cynthia's the bartender, she'll spend ten minutes to serve you a double portion of piña colada, extra-sweet and with lots of love, and that for the price of one! And on top of that she has really beautiful hair that was shining from the moment she first greeted me to the moment we bid farewell. But that's not why she's so special; you've got to meet her to actually know how sweet she is. Cynthia will definitely lighten up anyone's visit to Guatemala and if you ever have the chance to cross paths with her, don't hesitate a single second!

after this we met several times to travel together and i slept some night in there house.

How to describe the nice and friendly Cynthia? We think the best is to meet her in person but then maybe you will not like her to continue her trip. During the visit of Cynthia we felt like we are hosting someone of our family, she is easy going, helpful and very very VERY friendly. We did a lot of things and even started the 2007 together. Cynthia will always welcome in our place and for sure we will meet with her always when we go to Guatemala. ok people, forget what you think about guatemala as a nice relaxing place where to spend a quite holiday getting a good sun tan because if all the people there are as much energetic as cynthia is, then you won t be sleeping much! She is the real ultimate "party animal" and to prove it to you once i ve been counting the times she said the word "party" in a 2 mins long coversation.17 TIMES!! Came back to Europe pretty crazy girl!
