No couch currently available for surfing.
I live in the western part of Groningen, 15 minutes walk from the center (5 minutes by bike!).
There is a bus stop just in front of my house with a direct bus to and from the train station (10 minutes).
The house is quite big, but I prefer not to have many people at the same time. The couch is quite comfortable and can host 2 persons, it is in a separate bedroom. I can provide also blankets, but it is fine if you want to use your sleeping bag.
I am home usually after 7pm, so it is better for me to host during weekends when I have more time to show you around the beautiful city of Groningen.

Personal Description Speaking about me??? That's difficult.
I'm discovering myself day after day after day...
I am a very active person. I cannot stay in the same place too long ...I mean real places or "places(?)" in my mind...
My name is Giuseppe, I'm Italian but I lived and traveled in a lot of places, mainly all around Europe but also in the US, Australia and now back to Europe (Netherlands).
After that ...who knows!???
I love cooking... italian pasta, of course! ehehehe .... but also spanish, thai, japanese, ethiopian...
I love traveling, meeting people, knowing cultures and speaking other languages...
I love life, universe and everything!
I hate boredom!
I like to know new people and have a lot of fun. What I really love is to have fun in all the possible ways. Fun can come with humour, cooking, a glass of wine together, a funny chat, good company, music, books, movies...

+ CS addicted :)CouchSurfing Experience Once upon a time in Bologna, I was bored and melting at the hot air of that city. I decided to hitchhike and spend a few days in Paris.
I ended teasing a friend who believed that I was arrested at the France border without valid documents. So he organised a rescue trip with another friend to save me from the French police and from unfriendly (or maybe too friendly) truck drivers.
We arrived in Paris just with a telephone number of a friend of a friend. This person was not there, she was in Portugal. But a friend of her (I love this friendly world!) was house-sitting her place.
We spent 3 days there. We cooked for her and her boyfriend while they show us the coolest areas of Paris.

If you wish, I can teach you basic 3-ball juggling. I am not a professional juggler, but I am a good teacher for newbies :)
I can also explain you the secret of the Universe. It's my job and my passion.

We had a great time at the concert, and later tasting the Klaipeda’s famous cheese fingers :) a nice dinner at Jurgita’s where Alina and I prepared the sort of Italian food but not in the right Italian way but Giuseppe was not afraid to try it and I think he even liked it :) And of course it included great conversations and a couple games of Jenga :)

It was so nice to have him around (he even made some really good dinner (yummy!) at my place) :) We shared nice talks, good company, very relaxing walks along the beach & some crazy dream-whispering moments in the old town of Klaipeda! He surfed my mattress (couch was occupied by Roland and Barbara) only for two hours, because we had so much to talk about :)
Hopefully I'll be seeing him again soon! Many greetings, big hug & two-cheek-kiss :)

He is an extremly interesting and cultivated man, full of generosity and positive attitude! It was him to teach me the lazy frisbee, but I also always saw him teaching something to someone (like how to juggle in ten minutes!). He invited me and my cousin on Christmas 2005, and let us feel very confortable at his place and in his country of adoption, Tasmania. I loved his way of life and thinking positive. He showed us Hobart and around, even the telescope he worked with. He cooked delicious italian pasta and gnocchis (I learn how to cook them!), and did the best milkshakes I ever tasted.
