Luca Proculo Gentile

 

I met him a few times by now.
He loves to have fun (typical for Italians?) It might look like he's always joking, sometimes he's not and then he's up for a serious talk. I heard the same topics come up about the CS-organisation again.

We shared a crazy moment during the Carnaval of Dunkerque

Luca is lots of fun, I felt at home right away. He only have a problem to remember names... haha

I had a nice evening with them when they passed through Bochum for one night,I think we somehwat confused the waitress in the bar we were drinking and eating with those 4 languages circling around the table ;-)

Perhaps I'll visit Antwerp soon, hope to see you there!

We stayed in the house of Luca by just one day! He is an Italian very funny! Hope to see you sometimes!

I hosted Luca, Lisbeth and Enzo at my family's home. They were very kind guests and showed us the original way of preparing Spaghetthi Carbonara.

Luca came to surf my couch on New Years Eve, together with his friends Enzo and Elisabeth. He's a nice guy, funny and a good guest. Thanks for the wafers and don't worry about the dishwasher, it's alright again. ;)

He is a good friend and he is raccomanded!He is the best CS of the world! ;-)

Luca is an interesting guy. I liked his quick friendship. We had really nice conversation and had some laugh... If he is around you can real fun.. :)

Luca and his friends gave me a perfect first Couchsurfing experience! As guests they didn't expect much from me, but were really grateful for everything (especially the food at 5 a.m. I believe..). They were also very helpful.

After their visit I can only look forward to my next CS-experiences!

Luca is a very clean and organized man. we didn't have much time to talk, but he and his girlfriend were very helpful and kind.

Here's an interesting lad. We had a good time over good Belgian beer and his cooking, which was also very good. Impressive lighting system inside (and outside) the room, all carefully set up by the man himself. He's all about sharing the atmosphere, the music, and love. Enjoyed his company much.

I expected to arrive to Belgium, but then I found myself probably somewhere in Italy... or Wonderland. I never will forget that spontaneous crazy latin party.:) It was so much fun!! And of course I won't forget my first meeting with the cleaning "lady"...;) Luca is a true CSer!

Luca is a real good roommate. He has his life well organized, and he makes it very comfortable for his visitors and roommates. I'm looking forward for his piyama parties

Be carefull: Luca can organize unforgettable Latin party during those few minutes you are not in the living room! And this is more than possible that you will feel not very good the next day as he is making very tasty coctails :)

I saw Luca playing in a theatre in Antwerp. Afterwards we had a little drink together.
I was really amazed : an Italian guy playing theatre using the Dutch language ! Respect, man.

Luca is one of the very active CS members, especially in his "Belgian hometown" of Antwerp: his energy and enthusiasm in putting up events is quite amazing :-) !

I don't know what to say. There are so many references and all i can say is ditto to the other good reviews. Hes a very nice guy with some great taste in music.

We have had quite a few mails now concerning the weekly swimming event in Wezenberg, Antwerp. I attended it about five times, but we always missed and never recognised eachother... We have this sort of unique, invisible friendship, supporting and hoping, lol.

I met Luca on an Napolitan dinnerparty he organised at his place and I was really impressed. Everything was so well organised !! He is a great guy, he is sweet, a real good listener, funny, a bit crazy and he can cook great Italian food!!!

Luca brings a great and dynamic atmosphere to the meetings he attends so never forget to invite him. We had great moments at one of the Gent CS meetings in 2007.
Then I was glad to see him and his craziness again in Lille. And when I was in Antwerp, in spite of being quite busy, he did his best to make me enjoy the city.

Spent one night at Luca.s and it was fun! He.s a very caring person plus he makes Teddy Bears for a living!He made a traditional pasta dish & introduced me to a close friend whom then took me sightseeing on the town-included was a cool Jazz bar for drink.Great Host with an awsome charactor!

luca send me an email in order to join - me an my flatmates- to go to a concert. Because im really open minded i told him to come to my place. When he camed, he looked really weird... and he started making weird things, actually because we where all girls we started to be afraid of him . THEN he told to my flatmate in italian "I have on my underwear something you are the only one who can understand"..she come upstairs and start almost to cry, i was really afraid you never know; maybe luca is a great guy, but what he said that night SCARED me !i have been using hospitality and servas for years and i never had such a problem, I PROPOSE LUCA TO MEET SOME MONTH AGO AND TO SOLVE OUR DIFFERENCES, AFTER ALL WE HAVE HAD BOTH GOOD, NOT TO SAY EXTREMELY GOOD, EXPERIENCE IN THE CS PROJECT. MAYBE IT WAS JUST A BAD NIGTH FOR BOTH?THEN- 3 DAYS AGO-HOPE HE WILL BE WILLING TO MEET ONEVDAY TO CHANGE OUR BAD PERCEPTION OF EACH OTHER!

If Luca writes me a few adjectives then i'm ready to put all the BEST adjectives from a dictionary for him (remember we were looking for one in Pele-Mele in Brussel). Meeting Luca was just very nice. We started with a meet in COOK n BOOK, then parked his CAR correctly in Place Flogey, then CS with Yam and next day we had a long walk in Brussel, then he took me to Antwerp and we had another GREAT Halloween Party in Braasschaat and for that he dressed me up. I finally ought to give Luca some credit: after meeting him several times shortly during soms CS-events, he made the effort to come to Brugge, especially to see me in a play on stage. I appreciate this very much. We need to talk some more though and I hope we will be able to work together as CS ambs in the future.

We were stuck in Antwerp and Luca welcomed us into his home. No wonder he's an ambassador. I wish we could have had an arranged visit with him so we could have spent more time together. He seems like he knows how to have a lot of fun. If he's having a meeting, Go! It will expand your mind.

We met at a CS meeting in Ghent. We almost got married but I lost hem to Marlene (profile: NENANANA). But no remorse: hope they're happy together...NOT!

Luca joined our Ghent meeting. Didn't manage to talk to him for a long time but will make up for that when I attend one of his meetings as soon as things get a little less busy.

Luca is a really special person, excitingly eccentric, therefore lots of fun, full of ideas, caring and politeness. He brought two artists with him, a Master-Chef, and a grafic designer from Napoli who were really sweet and tremendous fun to be with! We were so heartbroken when they left!

Luca is not afraid of of approaching anybody and make friends with them, I was very surprise when I meet him, he's very friendly, and he owns a hippie car, witch is very nice. hope you liked the naked running around Paris, I had a so much fun that night. and yes pity we don't have any photos.

L. received me very warmely in his nice and well-organised appartment in Antwerp. I could easily find 'his casa' because of all the information he provided me with.
It was my first couchsurfing experience on the European continent. He offered me upon arrival a self-cooked Italian spaghetti dish with 'Belgian' mussels and i.e. the first I ate this summer-season.
We had some interesting discussions about the making of Kefir on water-basis using a bacterial culture. Looked together on internet for the healthy descriptions and so on. Furthermore I had a very good time and met some of his sympathic friends.

 

Is one great guy who is always welcome to surf my couch more times.

Luca is a very sociable, outgoing guy. He was happy to learn that I'm half Italian and we hit it off right away.

 

Definitely nice person to talk, he gave me good advices to save my pictures on Picasaweb during my 6 months travel.

I met KENILCHATTIERO in the meeting of new members of the Wallonie group this 16 june 2007. We have a nice contact and he is very joyous, jovial. And, with his italian accent, he bring me in mind directly to the south of Italy so beautiful and cordial.

And to understand Luca is actually not that difficult- he wants to have a lot of fun! The mannerism he implements for that is certainly specific and probably doesn’t suit everyone’s taste, but it is part of his individuality. And to get in touch with it is no way so bad, regardless whether one meets him as an attentive host or a lively guest. Lucone is a nice guy!

know Luca really good, we have been like living together for few months, and I know for sure he could not even try to take drugs (he is allergic even at smoke) or to be a danger for someone , it's ridicule what she said about him, I really cant bear it! I trust him and I just want to vouch him, misunderstanding can happen but to be true I dont believe much the words Eugenia wrote.

 

He is one of the best CS Surfer/Host I know, it's great to be with him , and I know the all story about Eugenia Carrara, I was talking with him on the phone before and after the things happened and I can vouch him for my life, he is a real gentleman and I just made great experience with him, Luca is maybe sometimes strange for the "normal" people, cause he his a special one, as the brother , but of course in a POSITIVE way and he would never do anything wrong to ANYONE! I can say it for sure

Luca and Enzo were the perfect hosts, bringing all what they needed with them -pretty impressing-. Luca is never tired and can spend hours of walking around to take pictures with girls... No doubt, he is an Italian!

 

Luca has a great sence of humor and it great to hangout with. I was supposed to go there for a pyama party but as we were only with 3 people we went out in Antwerp and they introduced me to the antwerp nightlife.
Was great to meet and he is a great host.
I'll try to join next time as well and hope that more people get to experience hanging out with this guy as its absolutely worth it.

Luca hooked me up with some great friends in Naples, organised an awesome get together in Antwerp and is a funny, friendly dude.

This was my first couch surfing experience... and it rocked!!! Luca was very nice! He even organized a CS meeting in Antwerp which allowed me to meet all kinds of fantastic people.

Luca is a very nice and friendly guy. He is trustworthy and knows how to behave in someone else's house. It was very nice to host him and his brother.

He stayed in my house for some days with his friend Gian Paolo and I enjoyed it very much. They helped a lot and always made efforts to comfort our community. He is a real "party-tiger" and very open-minded.
I enjoyed very much and it was like (party-)holidays for me to host them. You guys are welcome in my house..whenever...
