Hey People!
If you want to experience a small and beautiful city in Germany, then Weimar is definitely the place to stay! It's beautiful, cheap and awesome to discover together or on your own. I live in a district called Oberweimar which is 20mins by foot from the center but you can walk along the ILm river through a park. There are lots of bars and pubs in the city and some stuff to do as well. Weimar is a good place to be and it's charming and people here are friendly. I have a car too and can take you to places nearby when I am not working.
I live together with my lovely girlfriend Franzi. I have to check with her too.
You will get a guest bed and your own room. I sometimes smoke outside, so I am ok with smokers.
I can provide you with blankets but a sleeping bag is always a good thing to have.
I am happy to have visitors when I am here!
What I ask you to do is that you actually write the sentence "I got a cool Karma that's why I want to surf with KOOLKARMA!" somewhere in your mail. This is how you show that you have read at least my couch description. That is a minimum I expect from my surfers.
I will show you the most important sights and places and might be able to tell you about their history if you would like. All major sights are within walking distance, so you will nothing, but shoes are a recommended item. Best days for hosting depends and i rather go to bed late on weekends, in the week its between 1am and 2am usually. 2 nights is cool. Maybe more if you are nice and we are ok with you.
You should also check our he group where you can find informations on meetings and other things or post if you need to find a room for longer or just need help or have ideas and suggestions in any way. Also check he Wikipedia for more information.

Personal DescriptionJust meet me or get in contact with me. i am generally a really nice and communicative person. i am also trying to offer help a lot to the people i know. so thats basically it. i know a lot more, but wont make any use to strangers. but anybody is welcome to find out:-)How I Participate in CSI have hosted over 100 people and surfed about another 100. If I can't host I help people to find a place. If you think I am only on Couchsurfing because I am trying to pimp my profile then you are wrong. I am here because I love to help people and I want to hear their stories. Talking to people is better than sitting at home and watching TV and the reason why I host is because it's my substitute drug for travelling. I still enjoy the time with every surfer and host and I still believe in the spirit of Couchsurfing. I created a group for Kansas and for many other things and places. I helped to built up the CS community in Lithuania, Germany, Thuringia. I was City Ambassador for Leipzig, Vilnius and Berlin and Country Ambassador for Lithuania and Germany. I moderate a bunch of groups. I organize meetings wherever I can, carrying the CS spirit with me. I am developing ideas to help out CS in many ways. And yes, sometimes people think I take it so serious. Well, it is my passion and therefore I invest much time and effort. I connect people and convince them to join, if I think they are serving the cause of what I think CS is: a place to meet people, make friends, listen to their stories, exchange cultures, have fun and get to know about each others differences and also it is a network of people who are interested in travelling and share this passion.CouchSurfing ExperienceI had been a travel addict for ages but CS changed they way I travel and I wouldn't wanna miss it. I had a great time with the site through the years and met so many interesting people with CS that i can't tell how much I love this project. It's a dream and I will keep it growing with as much effort as I can share. I visited friends and people I met on the internet or somewhere else. I couchsurfed in more than 30 countries on 4 continents. I am a dedicated guest and host.InterestsTravelling, partying, music, literature, so much to write. I am open minded, I guess that's the most important...PhilosophyTrial-and Error. >>> 1. It works ---> Cool, let's continue!
2. It doesn't work ---> Fuck it! Let's move on.Music, Movies, BooksMovies: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Forrest Gump, American History X, American Beauty, Factotum, Noi Albinoi, 101 Reykjavik, Virgin Suicides, In China they eat Dogs (is that the title in English?), Old Men in New Cars, Lilja 4-ever, From Dusk till Dawn, Kontroll, Snatch, Long Stockings..., Tarantino-movies, Clockwork Orange, Trainspotting, Wild Style
Music: Daft Punk, , most Electro from Berlin is good, Digitalism, Buraka som Sistema, Fat Boy Slim, Chicks on Speed, Air, Royksopp, KRS-One, Gang Starr, Massive Attack, Daft Punk, Quit Yor Dayjob, The Doors, Sex Pistols, Ramones. Damn I got a lot of music and I like it all!
Books: I like Brecht, Dürrenmatt, Thomas Bernhard, Pamuk, Grass etc ppTypes of People I enjoyI like people who are open-minded and friendly and I have a openess for freaky people but can enjoy most others too. I love listening to interesting stories, not just but especially related to travels. Sympathy is important and you can build a lot on that...Teach, Learn, ShareI share my travel wisdom, my organizational skills. I can share my experiences from life. I can take educated guesses based on stereotypes:-D I can teach you how to write a good article and how to find information you need. I have knowledge about the countries I travelled and you are welcome to get a fair share of it if you like. I am a Berlin expert so you can try to enjoy the city with me:-)
I learned many things about other people, the common things between the cultures I lived and travelled in and I still think most people are generally good. I still would love to find out about your life, your country, your experience and your viewpoint on the places you are or have been living.
I sometimes share my place too:-DOne Amazing Thing I've Seen or DoneA motorboat ride on the Volga river, swimming in the Gulf of Mexico at night and doing a bonfire there, walking through ancient Petra and wondering around Manhattan's west side at dawn, running down sand dunes in Jordan, skydiving by myself in Lithuania. Every experience I make is unique and I am curious about the one's to come. Opinion on the CouchSurfing.org ProjectI love the idea of CS and I love everybody signing up!!! It made me have some of the best times in my life and meet some of the coolest people on the planet. The best is: I know there will be even more with every couch I surf and every Couchsurfer I host.Locations TraveledTRAVELED: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland (Republic of), Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia-FYROM, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Palestinian Territory, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine, United States LIVED: Germany, Lithuania, United States WANTS TO GO: Albania, Argentina, Cyprus, Greece, Iceland, Ireland (Republic of), Israel, Lebanon, Norway, Portugal, Turkey IS GOING TO: Cyprus, Greece
What do these numbers mean?
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you. References (294)292Positive 2Neutral 0Negative
