We already had tons of connections that we did and didn't know off. But once we finally met, we went straight into what we share: enabling a world that cares for the other. Dante is a great guy, very peculiar, and I am sure wonderful things will continue to grow.

My wife and I enjoyed our warm welcome from Dante and his girlfriend, Veronika. Both deep thinkers and passionate believers in the transformative possibilities of the gift economy, we exchanged ideas about using technology to spread the ethic. What a pleasure to meet someone with whom I could really connect on this matter.

A very curious and thought-provoking person. Interested in people and improving mankind's condition, open-minded and very bright, Dante has a never-ending number of amazing and inspiring facts and ideas to share.

Dante is a great person with an amazing mind! We talked quite a lot even if he couldnt keep up with how fast I talked! He taught me all about open source and e farm which I quickly became interested in. He came to Manchester and got an unexpected American culture experience including American cuisine (plastic, chemical, probably GM). I hope to see Dante again in the near future! Thanks for the good times!!!

We met by pure accident at a dinner at Casa Robino in Amsterdam, where I came with my boyfriend. He took care of us in the new environment, very kindly. There is something about this guy that makes me wish our paths will cross again!

Dante is a very calm guy... My first impression is that he's more of the silent type and I like that...

It was great spending the xmas holiday with Dante.I met him at Robin's place while I was visiting for a week. We exchanged thought provoking and inspiring words over freegan food an wine. He struck me as a very bright ab forward thinking individual with a lot ideas an initiative for creating distributed society. I am glad we met and look forward to spending more time with him soon.

It'd very interesting to speak about Dante, his not like most of the people who live with thing already built. Dante build his life himself with liberty, with hope to a better world, with strength.

Dante is one of the most balanced people I ever met! Always full with ideas how to connect other people and make this world a better place, on search for the unknown friends, respectfull, funny and deeply spiritual. It was a pleasure to meet you!

Dante. I should create a new word to describe him. Lots of ideas that he likes to share, he wants to change the world and rethink our economy. It's really someone to meet, even if it's just for a cup of tea

Dante is a great traveler and libertine. He has so many various and fresh ideas that you simply can't be bored with him. He is also a very kind and warmhearted guy. I have spent a enjoyable week with him.

I came across Dante's profile while browsing one of a friend's, and I immediately had the impression that we should meet ... and so we did :-) !
I don't regret that move a single second, since we had a very pleasant evening, chatting, drinking and eating along with Kadri.
It was great to discover his very noble lifegoals, which I could relate to; but inspite of his enthusiasm, he didn't convince me yet to quit the big corporate world ;-) ... yet :-D !
In any case it was really fun to to discuss all the innovative ideas this guy constantly comes up with :-) !
Dante has a rich travel- and generally life-background, so indeed there's no chance to ever get short of discussion topics with him!
All this makes him very resourceful and knowledgeable, yet humbly open and thus a careful listener!
It was a real pleasure to spend time with this well-educated guy - till next time, here or there or somewhere else :-) !

Discovering Amsterdam with Dante was cool and unique because Dante is only one in the world - he cannot be duplicated. Natural-born traveller, individualist who goes his own ways. Cat-like Dante.

Dante is very fun to hang out with and a great conversation partner. He showed us around Brussels. Hope we meet again some day, and always welcome to surf with us in San Francisco.

 

Darting eyed Normad…

The first thing I noticed about Dante when I met him at the CSC Eisenstadt (as well as when I met him again at the HC Winter Camp 2006/2007 in Warsaw!) were his darting eyes. Which are only the most obvious sign of his in general extreme focus on what he does or talks about. It totally fascinated me every time to see him how he gets close to you and - even more so - on eye level, which is especially striking as he then fixes on you his deep eyes which seem to show a genuine interest in almost everything (at least everything he's up to talk about with you) as well as a real liking of his conversational partner. I could imagine that this might make unsecure people feel a bit awkward. Only then again I saw him using those same eyes on women;-) For from that rather distressed look on his face after even all his eye-power and kind of latin-lover charms failed on that Austrian girl in his little competition with the young Austrian competitor I got the impression that he's not that used to loose on this field:-D Anyways… I felt never awkward (nor wooed...) but really liked talking to that focused and yet wildly outpouring mind just as fooling around during some fun Olympics or in cool pools on hot days or … Already looking forward to meet him again when he'll suddenly show up on another CS meeting somewhere else some other time!

 

Spend a day in Suomenlinna. Friendly thoughtful person with a lot of traveling experience. Had an awesome day hanging out with him.

 

Dante lives the nomadic lifestyle I aspire to lead. We met in Amsterdam, where he gave me a some hitchhiking tips and pleasant company. Hopefully his frequent traveling will create a circumstance in which we are both in the same place again!

We travelled together in the Baltic states, Poland, Belgium, Germany. And after we met in different camps and we probable will:) He is a dreamer and a good friend, and a crazy nomad with lot of entusiasm.

Dante is a very kind, philanthropic guy, and also a great observer. I got the impression he´s someone who can see the inner side of people quite easily, you find peace on his glance and voice.

 

Interesting character you can find in camps and libraries, complex as his website, to meet and talk with again in the future. I'm looking forward to writing more in this useless box: some people simply deserve to be told.

Dante is a very calm relaxed and easy-going person. Always there where sth. is going on but in a laid-back stile. Very friendly, caring and helpful. Very warm and positive.

dante is an inspiring person in so many ways... very open minded... feel very connected to him... even though his english is sometimes to good for mine;-) lets make open world reality:-)

 

Met several times in Riga Old Town Hostel (Backpacker pub) I still haven't talk a lot with him :) but it's nice to see a friendly faces once in the while :)

I met Dante during the free hugs-part of Berlin Beach Camp 2006. There i was confronted with his positive vibes and sweet character for the first time.
Later i hosted him quiet spontaneously and he saved my poor hang-plant from a sad death.

 

Met Dante at the Buddhist monastery in Berlin. A soul brought a bunch of us together, to celebrate the Tibetan new year. As a good traveler... used to walking this Earth and meeting its people, Dante brought us together, to xchange thoughts and ideas. I liked his vibes and enjoyed staring at his stinky sweater... that was later washed.

Of some peculiar reasons, I meet Dante wherever I go. Always with a big smile (with or without beard :)), always with new projects or ideas and always up for a good conversation. He's intelligent, sympathetic and defintely trustworthy!

 

I met Dante at a CDN conference in Belgrade in 2003 and then again the next year when he came to Sofia. I've also followed his posts to various lists over the last years. He is not your usual attender of EU funded youth events: he is very switched on and lively and thinks far more about the world than most people. I'm very much in awe of his determination in living his lifestyle.

Dante and I spent a nice evening together, enjoying the tranquility of a summer's evening and a good quality conversation. his personality and interests are very inspiring, I hope I will have the oportunity to find out more about that!

 

He has that 'something' what makes him totally different from others - the way of thinking, the way of living, the way of perceiving the life :)

 

Dante is a really nice guy, full of ideas and original in his way of thinking . He worth to be met even only for his way of seeing life... It makes him different from the "common people". Interetsing and relax, he is easy going and seem really peacefull...

Very interesting person, we meet in Marburg at the "Spielraum Festival" in 2005, we shared a bar job. Afterwards I heard interesting things about him (by Domenik)

He is an angel.The guy that brought us ''the light''...he told us about this greate project:CS.
We met at the Black Sea and later in Eisenstadt at CSC.We will met eachother again, probably sooner than we think ;)

He was in Romania, we where playing on the beach, and he told us about this great site!He has incredible ideeas and beautiful dreams, he's always on our thoughs!It was so great seing him after such a long time in Eisenstadt at the cs-meeting, hope to meet again!

Dante is very interesting to talk to and lots of fun. Spend a day with him and you will experience a paradigm shift. If you have the chance to meet him you should, it's certainly an experience. I look forward to seeing him again soon.

Dante is involve din many initiatives and is helpful and fairly reliable. But he is a nomad.

Dante is a very special person. He is full with ideas, like an ideas generator. He has his own special type of engoying his life!

A nomad with deep dedication to developing viable alternatives to current politics and educational systems. Besides having a creative mind, he also is an extremely kind and sensitive spirit. Sometimes when my doorbell rings unexpectedly, I think it might just be Dante. Sometimes it is! I wish this would happen more often.

 

Dante's a cool guy with very cool idealistic views. And he totally pursues them. He pointed me to a lot of interesting topics that I never knew about, and gave me a cool different point of view about the world in which we live. And of the world that we can make.

 

I met Dante in Austria at the CSC. He is a guy with some interesting viewpoints, which I would have liked to explore further. Also, he is great in attracting new members to this wonderful organisation! Hope to meet again at some point in time.

well....Dante is a traveler. we met a few times by now and with time we became friends. if there are meetings, camps, events.... he will be there. he is enthusiast , strange but interesting, dark but also clear, ...i like his theorys about different realities...we met in some of these realities and we will meet again in others:)
