Shared Room: YesMy apartment is a convertible studio, but it is large with a seperating wall between my sleeping area and living room (which happens to have a wonderful wood burning fireplace). I'd love to host you If you'd like to surf with me, but please request so with suffient enough time to correspond and make arrangements. Can host up to 3 nights, perhaps more if needed. I have a cozy couch which will sleep one comfortably and a queen size air mattress which will sleep an additional two. I of course have extra pillows, blankets and towels. Officially I live in Lincoln Park but I'm located on the edge of Lakeview, a stones throw away from Boystown and Wrigleyville. 2½ blocks from the Brown Line train, a 15 minute train ride from downtown and the Lincoln Park Zoo which is always free, is but a 15 minute stroll away near the Lake Shore which has great bike/walking paths along the length of Lake Michigan. I have two kittens and I don't smoke cigarettes, BUT I regularly enjoy toking up, so be okay with that. My work schedule is extremely flexible and I will gladly show you around the city. Friends (5)

Apr 22, 2010 Positive Laura made us feel extremely welcome. She's got a rockin' set up. Comfy couch. Awesome apartment in a nice neighborhood. She was great with helping us navigate and pointing out places we should go. My experience with Laura came complete with kittens AND cupcakes. Everything was just nice.

Apr 19, 2010 Positive Laura hosted my first couch surf ever, and was a wonderful lady to spend some time with. We got to play with kittens all night and eat cupcakes, how does it get better than that? Top notch sleeping arrangement too. Yay!

Not only did she provide us with a comfortable place to stay in a super great neighbourhood, but she took us out to her fav bar and gave us homemade items for our trip home. My next couchsurfing host has huge shoes to fill!
