Pierre is one crazy, open-minded, living loose (easy-going) couchsurfing institution kinda guy. He loves hosting and having people drop in and out of his house, which is great. He was actually away part of the time I was there so myself and another couchsurfer had the run of his place for a few days which was fun too. So thanks so much Pierre for being super helpful when I needed particular stuff, sharing a drink or ten and for trusting us with your place for a bit!

Peirre is really kind. I was having so much confusion while planning my trip he was nothing but patient. When it came down to it I wasn't able to to surf with him more than a night. As short as it was I was so glad to have finally been able to meet him and the other surfers he had at his place. kind hearted <3

I have a lot to say about Pierre. Mainly because he's so awesome :)
First of all, he saved me as I didn't have a host in Paris and he helped me a lot trying to get me to his place. His place was really cool, he truly loves the CS project. The part on his profile that he is not very talkative must be not true because he's really a great person to talk with. Pierre is really trustworthy and a helpful guy, and I'll be sure to visit his place again when in Paris. My goal then is to try to keep up with Pierre's partying. ;)

Pierre was very kind to agree to host me for 3 nights already after my arrival in Paris, even though he already had few couchsurfers at his place at the moment. Pierre is the best couchsurfing host I've had. I say this considerning the fact that I was a terrible couchsurfer, staying two weeks longer than we had initially agreed, and causing all sorts of problems. It was hard to leave because somehow it felt like home. One night, when it looked like I might have to sleep on the street, he laughed and let me stay at his place. A really hilarious and very caring guy, and if he seems a little crazy, he is! I hope he comes to New York so I can host him and give back a little of the help he gave me.

 

What a host, his place is a constant couchsurfing mecca. I recommend all couchsurfers in Paris at least meet Pierre!

No doubt that Pierre is the best CSurfer I met before. He is nice, helpful, friendly and ... :) my bro and I luv talking and staying wif him so much.

However, I feel so sorry that both of us got sick suddenly when staying in his apartment, so we couldnt join the gathering a lot, but we always like to meet him again. :)

Pierre et moi ne nous connaissions pas mais avions un vieil ami en commun... j'avais un travail mais pas encore d'appart à paris et c'est LUI qui m'a contactée pour me dire qu'il m'hebergeait sans aucun probleme le soir même... je nai jamais regreté, c'est devenu ma 2eme maison pendant quelques mois et une de mes meilleures rencontres à paris! depuis les surfeurs defilent dans son petit appart mais je suis fière d'avoir été "the first"!!!
Un super ami chez qui je m'arreterai à chaque passage par la capitale... vous ne pourrez pas etre déçu...

fantastically positive experience. Best local guide ever. Watch out for this guy, hes fantastically crazy in every good way possible. Pierre couldnt host us at first because we didnt request ahead of time, but he informed us about couchsurfing meetings and drinks in paris,and he treated us like a family member. Stayed 2 nights, both of which had an awesome time meeting other couchsurfers and having french fondue and drinks with his friends.I'm really dissappointed we couldnt stay any longer due to our flights and that we didnt get to catchup with pierre during his working days. thanks so much pierre for showing us a local and crazy side of paris.

I had really really great time in Paris thanks to Pierre. At first he looks like doesn't care anything(just as somebody said, haha) but he is really warm-hearted guy!! If you go to Paris, you have to meet him, I was also very lucky to stay with him. I already miss his crowded house and him so much :)

Pierre is very nice guy with a broad mind. He is always ready to help people. I think he is the person who hosts the most surfers in Paris. I am very lucky to know him and be a friend of him. it's true what they say - that this guy is really crazy - probably the most craziest one I've ever met - but when I think about how he shares absolutely everything he has with you and won't even stop thanking you for giving him a little back or just for beeing there - I think everybody else who doesn't behave like this must be crazy...

Pierre helped me out in the last moment. It seemed to me he in THE Emergency couch request Paris. If he can't host you, maybe nobody. Intelligent, honest, full of energy (don't know how does he do that), a great party guy and have a great sense of hospitality. I thik he would host the whole world if he could. There's always some other surfers at his place, so you can meet other interesting people, from all over the world.
Even if he has to work, has always time to have a drink, at the railways or in a bar.

I met Pierre on my last evening in Paris in the Lion's Pub and we had some funny hours.

I met Pierre in Paris, at Lion´s. Then he invited me and 2 others cs´s to his family house in the countryside. We spent there 2 night and Pierre was a real wonderfull host. he and his family were very kind and did their best to make the weekend funny, interesting and confortable. It was cool!

 

Pierrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeee. Wow where could I start with this amaZING dude! This guy is the perfect example of what CS is all about! Sharing, enjoying, laughing, meeting people, having a good time, welcoming people like there where old time friends, being tolerant and open minded, crazy, impulsive, funny, charismatic, nice and sweet. This guy lives for Couch Surfing, between hosting like a crazy, going to meetings, developing for the website, organizing crazy 15 people week ends on the country side all with couch surfers, cooking at his place, organising key sharings and stuff, or just chilling @ home, he manages to be an amazing and caring friend, having a job and an active life in paris. I feel really lucky I met this great person in this website, because I know I've made a good friend for life, that will always be willing to help, share moments with me and his friends. PEOPLE, if this guy ever contacts you or if you're looking for a couch in paris, don't look more. HE IS THA MAN!

Pierre was a fantastic host and fufilled his mission to make me happier (although exhausted) when I finally left! Let me start by saying I'll never see a trash can the same way again.
I had a blast staying in Paris thanks to Pierre and his phenominal hospitality and great attitude. The house didn't have water, its kinda crowded at times and when I got there the kitchen had something to be desired...It was perfect! The challenges we're easily overcome with paitence all around a couple coolers for water pails a quick scrub of the counter ;) Thanks Pierre for filling my emergency request and being a phenominal host. I hope all goes well with the repairs and your future guests, you'll always have a place in Michigan.

I surfed pierre´s place in paris he was very nice to let me and other couchsurfiers stay at his place even when he was not home. i wish we could had spend more time together but the time we spent was enough to know that he s very cool and fun, i really enjoyed my time in paris

Pierre... he was my first host ever and I'm so thankful for that! He answered my plead for help in the Paris Emergency channel and gave me such a complete set of information that even a baby could get to his place safe :D

And then he took me and my friend alex to this huge pic-nic in the champs de mars where we met all these CS'ers. He's always laughing, has his house full of people so you always meet new people and don't forget: DO NOT PUT GLASSES ON THE FLOOR hahaha (I didn't Pierre :P)

Pierre is very devoted to CS and is a very kind person. He let me stay at his place at the peak holiday season in Paris and fixed my computer in 5 seconds! He has very funny smiles. Despite all the shitty things happened to him, he just smiles them away. I wish you better luck and take care.

The most weird four days in Paris! It was starting innocently, we went only for one night, and later just for next day, and anathor... we always (me, my sisters and friend) finished at his flat;) don't now why? maybe some energy entice to his home...Yes! And I'll add that we can't leaved his place, the same- don't now why??;p I'm sure that this is a matter of energy... all day smoking, listening music, waching tv (french films?!? never mind that nobody from my compans don't now french;p) and drinking, drinking, and...a lot of drinking.

He is such a party person! He hosted us for 2 nights although he didn't have water. We went drinking with him and his friends in the afternoon and also on CS party. We can just say that he loves beer:) He is really in to CS! When we had problem with our host later in Paris and were looking for the roof he helped us a lot! Pierre is really AWESOME person. i called him suddenly 3 days before I supposed to come. But He let me stay in his place, and made me feel comfortable. He is fun guy and cared about other couchsurfer a lot!!! you are great!!!!

When I arrived at Pierre's, I was the only surfer (a very rare moment for him) & since I had my driving license (but no car) and he had a car (but no license), we escaped Paris & drove to his father's house in Vitry-aux-Loges, just south of Paris, where we could swim in the pool, see cows being milked (and have fresh milk! yummy!), attempt at playing tennis & go for a walk in the forest (until we heard gunshots and I got scared). I had a really great time, but when we got back to Paris, I found I wasn't as much of a partier as Pierre & some of his other surfers :( My plans changed when I found a surfer-less host at a CS gathering. Sorry! But if you like to party & see a different, not touristy, part of Paris, certainly stay with Pierre and you'll have a blast! :) Thanks for the road trip Pierre! :)

Pierre (and Paulo) were great CS hosts! This was Jacob and my first time couch surfing and I don't think we could have gotten introduced to CS in any better way. Pierre is an awesome host. Living with him is like a dream, there is always something fun happening in his house. I didn't mind that there was no running water because it reminded me of camping and it reminded me of the true value and scarcity of water on our planet, and how precious and essential this commodity we take for granted is. Pierre is a hysterical person. He brought a great deal of positive energy and laughter to our house for the time he was there. The guy carried two magnums of champagne all the way from France to Costa Rica for us!

 

We were first introduced by a common friend many months ago. Then we had a CS work-relationship for 6 months. We then lived together for 2 weeks. Now, he's almost like a brother. We met Pierre at "2009-06-13: Le Banquet des Gaulois !" after waiting for one year.

Met and stayed at Pierre's via Paoulo so last minute it was amazing! Really, we nearly ended up on the street and got saved and had such a nice time!!!! Really enjoyed every little second there and wanna say thanks so fucking much! Merci, merci, merci!!!

Ha ha, Pierre is one of those people you want to have around all the time; they arrived in the evening after a last minute request and were very flexible.
They even convinced me to join them going out during the festival and I don't regret it.

i had my heart so little before seeing pierre, as a bag was found inh is plane and thought to be a bomb. so i couldn't wait for him to come.i liked the way we shared everything, hang around any corner of the street, walked through a terrible rain and got soaking wet, danced, laughed all the time. oh, i forgot to tell you he was kinda lucky to share the same bed with two girls, always in the middle. hehe...see you soon.huuugs

Pierre was a whirlwind of crazy fun at the Costa Rica collective. He arrived with one backpack, which had inside two giant bottles of champagne! Pierre is really cool, and im looking forward to hanging out in Europe this summer!

Pierre calls ME crazy, but man, he's wild also. :) His sleeping hours are crazy, we likes to wake up early in the morning (5AM) while I'm still awake and share some coffee with me before I go to sleep shortly thereafter. :P Hehe, Pierre is a frenchman, what else can I say! :) He loves his coffee and his hand rolled cigarettes. Well...I have to admit that i didn't really feel the vibe with Pierre when he sent me request to surf my couch.
Why? Because he is a geek and he is a parisian ;p
But when we got the first contact at the 3rd France organization meeting, i immediatly feel something else.
Pierre is a genuine with a big heart.
We share a lot of common points on our vision of life & CS project. It's like we know since a long time.

Pierre is one of Paris' attractions.

His place is like the couchsurfing camp in Paris and you meet a lot of nice guys at his place. Pierre at least is very helpfull and a good master of ceremony. Eventhough he was quite busy with work (for CS) he managed to spend time with his guests. He hosted me even for one more unexpected night (sorry for confusion).

I spent 4 nights at his place on an emergency bases. His place was great and even though he spent most of the time working on the weekend he was working for the sake of CS. He has to be one o the most enthusiastic people I have ever meet. I also meet a few other surfers while staying there that he was hosting.

We spent about one week in Paris for vaccation and Pierre hosted us for 3 days. He is an amazing host, really friendly and humorous, and totally easy to get along. It was not only fun to hang out together with other couchsurfers at night at his place, but he also took us along to a party of a friend of his, where we would drink and have fun until early in the morning. It was great experience to meet so wonderful guy like Pierre! This man really crazy about CS(only in good way of course). It looks like he lives by this idea. He takes CSers, develops site, donate site and so on. I saw his eyes. The eyes full of passion. Eyes which say that owner of them is Man with Idea. I could say more and more about him and his place. But main thing is that... i am really happy to have Pierre like a friend and i trust him totally! If you will meet him probably it will be the greatist impression about Paris.

 

I stayed at pierre's house for a long time for a couchsurfer. he was one of the best hosts I had through this entire program. He was alot of fun and I recommend anyone to come and meet this guy. And the bedding was amazing (i love that hammock!). But anyways, come to canada anytime pierre and thanks alot for the great stay in paris!

What a great stay! I felt immediately welcomed in this paradise of parisian insomniatic madness. Pierre's heart is so big, it barely leaves him any time to walk, talk, sleep or eat!! But he still pulls the energy out of SOMEWHERE to make you feel as comfortable as possible, even if he may forget your name, or what language to speak in at times ;) Take great care!!

Pierre was a great host for my first couchsurfing experience! He's very laidback, dances all the time, and he always made me laugh with our miscommunications in french/english haha.

After having long night discussions with Pierre about volunteership in CS translations 'n CS Tech Team, we went together to the CS french ambassador meeting in Nantes. Pierre is a very nice and caring host! I spent a week in his cosy apartment, and he took good care of me and all of the other surfers that came along... I really trust him and you can be sure that you will have a nice time if you surf his couch.

I had an awsome time with Pierre. What a fun guy. Full of life and energy. Very generous. Shares his time, home, food, beer. I couldn't have asked for a better first time couch surfing experience.

Had an extremely fun time with Pierre. A very kind and giving person with a great positive attitude. Love the time we had in paris and out on his farm!

Pierre is a top bloke. He is really generous and nice. He made my Paris experience one to remember. I hope other people are as lucky as me to stay with Pierre, and I hope that Pierre will surf not only my couch but some waves in Australia!!!

Even though I don't know him very well I can tell you straight away, Pierre is the bollox!
Anyone who spent more than 5 minutes with him would trust him.

Pierre is a great guy and took me in last minute. The night was spent walking around town drinking and me singing the Star Spangled Banner(Come on, it was the 4th of July).

Pierre is very relaxed and extremely entertaining. If you get bored while staying at his place, it's definitely your own fault.

 

Pierre came through at the last minute when my boyfriend, Brian was stranded in France. He was generous enough to offer his laundry facilities, internet and international calling in order to allow us to figure out a way home!!! And afterwards, took Brian out for a crazy adventure on the town. Many, many thanks!!!

 

What else.... it's my friend and I trust him.

Pierre is very generous and funny. I felt like I was home at his place. We went to some parties together, lot of fun.
