Lorraine Sanchez

 

Lorraine was a very polite and respectful guest. We did not have much time to hang out but she seemed to be a cool person and definitely a good guest to host!

 

Bubbly personality. Always smiling (and if in the small chance she is not smiling, just feed her ;-)). Looking things from the positive side. Doing lots of good things in the NL, The Hague and Rotterdam communities.

I met Lorraine from the local CS meeting! A very interesting person! It was nice to meet someone who was from North America! And YES! I'm proud of my Canadian accent! hehe

She was going to host me in Holland but my trip failed thanks to Skyeurope :D finally we met in Vienna and she is a cool and outgoing girl, we had some chats, hung out on the way to the toilet :) it was so nice to meet her! Next time Holland oh yes!

Lorraine is so sweet, nice, funny, entertaining, brave and talented... upon meeting her I instantly received good vibes from her. I hope we get to meet again soon x

Was a fun night when I met Lorraine... she dared to join us crazy people no matter if it was for a silly card game or the sauna ;) we just did not get to talk in a "normal" way, but the netherlands are on my list to visit soon, so maybe we'll catch up then! Hope you enjoyed Vienna!

 

Lorraine is awesome, we met and connected right away. We were the 'back-benchers' in the car and shared so many stories during hours of driving. She has a heart of gold and it's such a pleasure just to hang out with her. Also she is an amazing photographer, she seems to be extraordinary talented, I love all her pics!!
During exploring Bratislava and Budapest together we really got to know each other and it felt like we have know each other for ages :)
I met her again back in Vienna and it was soo good to see her, I really felt like seeing a friend again.

Thank you for all the talks and stories, for walking through Budapest in this crazy heat, for smiling and just for everything :D

Lorraine was fresh air from California in Vienna! Can't wait to be with her again, Netherlands or Portugal, "The world is smaller then you think"!

 

OMG! Lorraine is hilarious! We had a blast together several times. Especially after she copied my best card tricks to make other people a bit quicker happy! She is a good student and I was happy not to be on turn after her! Well and I am sure she will come to Berlin soon. She is the person to move in with!

Lorraine and I met during an exceptional and suprising party in Vienna. She is just the kind of person you hope to meet during a CS event, and I really want to be friends with her, and not onely after drinking games ;-)

Lorraine, thank you!! We really wished she could have stayed longer, she seems to be such a great person! She is a positive, funny and good-hearted girl with a great wish to see and discover the world. We liked her from the first e-mail, and we both felt very comfortable in her company. She really represents the beautiful idea of CS!

 

Lorraine is one of the most talented human beings that I have ever met. I was a bit star struck by her photos, but she is humble and modest. Beyond that she has a great mind and a kind heart, and she knows the best things to eat! She selflessly showed me around Rotterdam, even though she was not my "official" host. She was a major highlight of my trip (I came all the way to NL to find an American Jewel, go figure!). If you want to experience anywhere with an intelligent person who loves life, find Lorraine!

Lorraine is such a fun girl to hang out with. We had a lot of fun together on Queen's night. It was a lovely night. She is friendly and easygoing, you will always laugh when you are with her!

Lorraine is a very sweet person who is always open to others. She always makes you feel comfortable. Always laughing together. :) On the other hand we can also talk about more deep subjects in life. Very versatile person.

After an intro like that, how could I not like this girl? Lorraine was my guide in Rotterdam for Sinterklaas 2008, and I couldn't think of a better person to spend time with. Admittedly, I did wonder if she was trying to get me to eat myself to death, with all the patats and ice cream and fried dough-ball thingies... :D

All jokes aside, Lorraine is great fun, a great person, and my stay in Rotterdam wouldn't have been the same without her. She's welcome here anytime.

 

Lorraine is one cool person! She is a multi talented lady: she is great at management, photography, shop at Target and making people feel comfortable.

Lorraine is such a warm and loving person and she has so much energy for going out and meeting people. Even in winter cold she went out every day and nearly every night for one week. ;-)
She also is a friendly and attentive guest, so we really loved to host her.
Europe and especial Netherlands can be lucky to get her from America.

 

We spent a nice evening with other CS in Berlin, very pleasant experience! Unfortunately we had no opportunity to talk longer together, but: next time, longer line! :)

I met her because she stayed with my family in Berlin for a little while. We met as she said very shortly. But I really enjoyed to spend some times with her. She is a crazy party person and she didnt need much sleep... she needs much music rhythm.. ;)

Lorraine is a great dancer and always in party mood^^ I showed her a little bit around in town and i really enjoyed to spend sometime with her!

 

Lorraine is very friendly and she's dedicated to put energy in the CS group The Hague. We can not make them all happy, but we can try :)

Lorraine is one of the sweetest and funniest people I have met in a long time. It was an absolute pleasure spending time with her, whether is was partying, organizing stuff, drinking, dancing, just chilling out or watching a movie. She brings a good vibe with her, wherever she is and makes people feel comfortable. I'll catch up with you again, sometime, somewhere :)

She was a fantastic co-host of Paul and we had many great talks (especially on the way home after the sinterklaas meeting)

I met Lorraine one of Rdam weekly meetings; even we have the same group of friends and party squad somehow we missed each others so far:) however she made an extra-positive impression for me and Im looking forward to Berlin camp with her!

It was basicly impossible not to knowdice Lorraine during the CSinterklaas meeting!

She's bubbly, happy and has a great possitive vibe over her, which makes you smile the instant you meet her!

She promised me to come to Gent some day, hopefully she will keep her promise :)

 

Lorraine was naughty enough to be taken directly to Spain, but hey, how could I leave Den Haag again without an ambassador (especially now they got such a cool and enthousiastic one).

"Excuse me, are you the girl from that picture [interested know which one ;P]?" - that was how I've acquainted Lorraine at one of CS meetings here, in Rotterdam. She's a very friendly person and with her smiling she always makes you feel better!

 

Thanks to Lorraine and her friends for bringing my camera to Metz. The meeting in Metz was amazing. Thank you for plezant chat on the Christmas market. See ya later!!

Lorraine is a really nice girl, my flatmate Laura is joining me to say that she's really enjoying life, and like to share her love of it with the people around her. I liked her way to consider everybody same, she looks very tolerant and reaaaaaally nice!! Hope to see you again! (even if she stole my couchsurfer!! héhé)

Lorraine and I really met while driving to Lorraine (the region in France). We were judged to each other for to much hours next to each other. ;-) Anyway, Lorraine is a talk active always smiling girl with a lot of energy. Further on she likes party people. :D

 

Lorraine is happy person with an positive outlook on life. I admire her courage to take the step to leave her "safe" enviroment in L.A. to get into the big and brave Europe. Maybe one day you will get to the next step, eating a escargot!

Lorraine is a very energetic and positive person. We have been together to some dancing nights out in Rotterdam and we also explored some forts in Metz in the middle of winter :-) She irradiates good feelings and I always feel completely confortable talking to her, as though I had known her for years. Don't change Lorraine!

Lorraine rocks! Lots of positive energy and is totally being proactive organizing all type of events in Den Haag - plus she can explore a serious fort!

It's a shame that Lorraine doesn't come into Amsterdam more often because we would totally have a blast everytime!! She's a great person with plenty of character and a big beautiful smile!! : )

I first got to know Lorraine during CS events in The Hague and Rotterdam... When, after that last one, my car seemed to be gone, she helped me out trying to find it back. When we eventually didn't succeed, we decided we deserved another Leffe. Without her assistance, it would have been quite a bad experience, and I would probably never have managed to get back to The Hague :-) There are probably easier ways to make friends, but I think back of this night with a smile! We'll definitely meet up again, by train this time...

I met Lorraine at the CS meeting in Rotterdam. I was thinking it was just going to be a no-fuss night with a couple of beers and some people to chat to... but yeah, life is full of suprises isn't it.

I met Lorraine at some CS-meetings. She's always smiling and enthusiastic. It's always nice to have her at a meeting. Are you looking for somebody who wants to go out or join a meeting? Most probably Lorraine will join you.

FINALLY !! Me and Lorraine had been emailing a bit before, we had the opportunity to meet several times but for some reason it didn't work out. Now at the Rotterdam Saturday Night party I finally saw her face to face. As it was mainly about dancing that night we still didn't talk much, but I can surely tell she's a great member of this website. She's welcome any time.

Lorraine is a very active CS member,we have met couple of times at CS gatherings in Den Haag.She is a great person who talks a lot and always keep smiling.I think that everyone who know her,can admit it!

It was very nice to meet Laurie! I met her in Den Haag through other CS'ers! Unfortunately we did not get to hang out that much, but I would have liked to have gotten to! Hopefully we will get to hang out in the Netherlands some time again! :)

Would have loved to spend more time with Lorraine, as we had fun talking about Dutch men (!) and compared childcare experiences. Lorraine is easy to talk to, good listener despite the noisy pub!

 

Lorrie has a very nice way about her, relaxed and fun. It's always great to meet a fellow expatriate in the Netherlands, and I'm looking forward to seeing you again soon.

It was such a luck that we could surf the coolest couch surfer's couch and we could meet 'each other'. I still remember our lovely conversation of film, music, life and everything! We even shared our thrilled moment to ride a bike to a beautiful Antwerpen park(We made it, Lorraine!) and lots of Belgian beer, too!

Never a dull moment with Lorainne. The words sparkly, bubbly and fun come to mind immediately.

She contributed a lot to the Rotterdam CS group (thanks for all the help at the Sinterklaas event).

Recently she became city ambassador of The Hague and I'm sure she'll invigorate the CS community there in no time!

She rocks, even at the beach without boots :P Starbucks at 3 in the morning is a great place to hang out with her although the muffin is still waiting to be eaten! Had a cool time with her and love her pics!

I meet Lorranie at the Utrecht Midsummer party in June, she is a easy to talk to! :)

Laurie helped me a lot when we used to work together. The 2 weeks of babysitting were fun for me but probably a headache for laurie, haha=P She is a really nice person. Maybe we can make some short trips after I am done with my portfolio.

 

Lorie was there at one of the CS meetings in the Paas and this girl knows how to enjoy our beers... we should make our own little menu next time! CU soon

Lorraine's awesome! She's incredibly fun to be around and always seems up for everything! :) She's very hospitable and was nice enough to let me stay with her last minute... She'll definitely make you laugh and puts everybody at ease - always a pleasure to run into her and I definitely hope to spend more time (and seek out some adventures ;) !) with her in the future!

We spent a wonderfull weekend together. Laurie is ready for every adventure, she was that brave when we got lost on the way back of the mountain in the middle of the night and we had fun drinking our initial shot of Heidelberg. Hope you can make it to Heidelberg on May 1st!

 

I met Laurie at one of our Heidelberg meetings and immediately found her to be very warm, open, and friendly. I'm sorry I was too tired to hang out the next day, but I hope you'll let me know if you come back down this way again!

Lorraine is a good soul and a lovely guide for the CS community in Den Haag. I enjoy spending time with her as we are always in for a good laugh and fun story telling. She deserves all your attention and your enthousiasm!

She's definitely a great person for spontaneous planning & exploring a city with (regardless of how crazy that place may or may not be!). And, she knows her ice cream!

When I met Laurie for the first time we hardly had time to know each other. The second time I got to know her better. She is a wonderful girl with a very interesting personality. She’s friendly, funny and so full of life, and I would be more than happy to be around her more often. I can do nothing else but giving a very good reference of her. :-))

Ohh, Laurie...we had lot of fun together. Hope we´ll have more. She is a kind of friend who I´ll miss when I come back home. We´ve been swimming naked in sea at midnight, dancing almost whole night....I like her

Thank you for rolling down the hill with me ^_^ It was an awesome experience i actually still have the bruises to proof it.. hmm Anyhows Laurie was a great person to meet, she just has a vibrant energy surrounding her. I liked talking to her and never felt like i was talking to someone i just knew!

Laurie has been friends with my cousin for as long as I can remember. She's always been nothing but great to me and is doing really well getting out in the world and meeting new people. She's just all-around lovely!

 

I met Laurie a the CS Utrecht meeting for MidSummernight Weekend. We had a nice conversation, a bit in between songs, while we played the night away and celebratd the longest day of the year. Whishing for you to have a great time in the Netherlands!

 

Only met her yesterday, but feeling was good immediately, will sure meet up again!

 

Lorraine is totally great and not afraid of giant ant mandibles. She's very social and fun to be around!

Laurie was a great "student" in the latino workshop I gave. She's full of energy and always smiling, but most of all she learns so fast! Hope you'll dance more, it's the best way to relax!

Laurie is really relaxed, frindly and chilled out. We hope to travel lots of Holland together while we work as au pairs and hopefully some other places around Europe too!

I met her at night, it's after midnight when the moonlight shines upon us, we walked,talked and chased by an unknown cat that's probably haunting the street corner
an after midnight talk that turned out to be ....:-P

We’ve met twice recently, though the first time, during the Shoot Me film festival, loud reggae music reduced us to smiling and waving instead of talking :). She’s very cheerful & friendly. A great person to chat with; she made the train ride back to Den Haag go by very quickly. AND she promised to keep an eye on me when it turned out I was prone to leaving my stuff behind that day ;).

 

I talked briefly with Laurie at the Shoot Me Filmfestival in The Hague. It's great to see such enthusiasm to get to know people and learn about Europe (she even spoke some Dutch!). Hope to talk to you longer next time :)

Laurie is the greatest person I know. She is my best friend. I would gladly trust her with my life (although I wouldnt trust her with my laundry :) he he! She will make you feel like you are the most important person in the room.

We met at a meeting in Delft. Unfortunately we didn't talk very much, but Laurie seems very kind and enthusiastic! Hope to meet her again, to get to know her better!
