I nice lady with a travel heart and a purpose in life. Its a pity she leaves to prague but If I will be in town there i definitely will visit her.

Surfed with Rose and Adam in Amsterdam for queens day. Had a Great time, consumed too much, but thats gotta be done.

Rose and Adams were PERFECT hosts and were exactly the sort of people I was hoping to meet. Chilled out, down to earth and a good laugh.

I met Rose for 'real' at the BBC. We met sometime before at the beach in The Hague but didn't get the chance to really talk. We had some very interesting talks at the BBC and partied a bit. Rose was my first host for couchsurfing and she really got me hooked. I'll never forget the conversations we had - the first intelligent/philosophical I'd had for a while! She was kind enough to take me in last minute, and even welcomed my friend who wasn't even surfing into her home and found the time to show us around a bit and hang out.

 

We met at a CS meeting in amsterdam and she was kind enough to show us the city the next day. Lots of laughing and a funny dinner :) Thanks a lot =)

What an awesome experience surfing with Rose-may and Adam. She is really passionate about couchsurfing and shows a genuine interest in where people come from and who they are. Rose is just great! While she hosted me in Amsterdam, and also after it, I loved meeting her, hanging out with her, cooking for her, talking to her, ... I just can't wait to meet her again!

Rose is very welcoming and sharing. I enjoyed our candlelit jam session in Vondelpark and getting to know you and meet your awesome friends. Your house was the perfect place for me when I was staying in Amsterdam because I loved coming home to you and Adam and your other couch surfers. Rose was an amazingly interesting and lovely host. She's fantastic and engaging. My friend and I had an unbelievable time; it was our first time CouchSurfing, and we had a blast! The apartment is right in the middle of a lot going on: there's an outdoor market every day, there's a tram stop around the block, and most of the museums are within walking distance. Please, do yourself a favor and meet Rose; you will not forget it!

I met Rose through Adam. They are genuinely awesome and their hospitality is very welcoming. They are really laid back and quite up for a good time.

Rose hosted me and my friend with her great flatmate Adam for two great nights. I have to say their hospitality was more than enough.
Besides I had the chance of seeing a great band because of her. Hope to see her soon again to continue our arguments and learn her ideas as the way she call "for my humble opinion". See you in Istanbul! :)

I had one of the nicest couch-suring experiences with Rose. She is incredably welcoming and warm-hearted. She was so kind to introduce us to her closest friends which gave us the opportunaty to get the proper Amsterdam-experience!

Rose! She hosted me and introduced me to the fine art of couchsurfing. She invited us to a party in Amsterdam that was really fun. We learned a game called werewolf that was sooo entertaining. Rose made everyone feel so cozy even though there were many couchsurfers staying with us at the time. In fact, I'm staying one more night and its great! Rose hosted me, she was really nice as the person that was normally going to host me couldn't lastminute, and she immediately offered her couch as a sollution. She's very active and knows many people, which makes it great to tag along with her. She appreciates and loves her friends a lot and has many lifephilosophies to share. Rose is one of the very few people in the world who you can talk about spirituality and she will understand what you mean. I felt very confortable with her. I hope we meet again in this life time!

When you meet Rose the first thing you notice is that she has a lively spirit. She is talkative and has a lot of anecdotes about traveling and travelers. For sure you´ll enjoy staying at her place!!

Rose is a kind host and a down to earth, nice girl. We hung out and talked lots about our travels and everyday stuff, I had a fun time going to a couple of dinner outings with her and friends aswell as other couchsurfers. I had a fun weekend, cheers.

Rose is a wonderful host, even when you aren't staying with her! We met through a mutual CS friend who was staying with her at the time, and she welcomed us into her home with no hesitations. She really spent time getting to know us and she was full of suggestions and recommendations on how to spend our time in Amsterdam, even pointing things out on the map and inviting us to a CS party later that week. I feel so lucky to have met her and hope she will surf my couch if she ever makes it to the US!

Rose May is just the craziest little hobbit I know. You can talk to her about any subject and she makes you feel at home too. Just don't get dragged into any of her ideas for plays.

Rose is positive and sociable person!! We spent in Amsterdam to short time to get to know well each other, but it was really nice time!!I'd like to say thanks for the hospitality for Rose and for her best friend Irene !!:)

 

This scrollbar option needs something stronger than positive. Describing my experience with Rose as positive is like calling dark chocolate rather okay: simply not fitting.

Cheesy as it may sound, the picture I have of her on my profile speaks "the truth!" (as Rose would put it).

To go back to the chocolate. Rose is giving in the best way: not just the sweet stuff, but like the good ol' black stuff she also has the rare capacity of mixing just enough bitterness in to enhance the inherent sweetness, thus making me think (about something else than chocolate that is).

If you haven't understood, by now, that meeting Rose is a most excellent idea, you shouldn't waste her time by doing so.

If, on the other hand, you actually want to meet someone unique and truly giving you don't have to look for any other profile.

Or to put it in another way (yeah, I couldn't let this choco-reference go); you're in for a treat.

Rose is a very interesting lady that I actually only met briefly so far. I see her name popping up all the time in my email and therefor it was really interesting and surprising to see that she showed up on a meeting that I organized in Rotterdam. From what I found out about her on that day is that she's a bright personality with a lot of enthousiasm for CS !! What else can you ask for and expect from a Dutch country ambassador! At first this hobbit mesmerizes you with her strong will and cunning eyes, but soon she softens with the grace of melting butter. Soft like the wind she is not, but one can clearly see has the power to move trees with here aura of fluid motion. Rose flows with matters of life not wavering but molding and she is a master of order within chaos. If you are able to stay with the Gold nugget of love that she is you will fall in love with the world that surrounds her. I wove you Rose.

Rose has such a unique style of living, and though it looked a bit weird to me at the beginning (it was my first couchsurfing, too), it turned out to be a very nice experience! One can learn a lot from her, especially about communication and sociology in general. The thing that meant a lot to me is that we were completely independent from her, but were also invited to roll with her when we want, so we did both and it was great.

Rose is quite a unique character. Very laid back, patient and easy going to the extreme.
My flight to Amsterdam was delayed and I had the wrong phone number for Rose, so I didn't make our meetup at the train station on time. I got in touch with her a few hours later and was still able to stay with her, an experience I'm very glad to have had.
Rose also has the cutest bunny I've ever seen and a lovely taste in music. Her new flat promises to be quite the hangout spot when the renovations are complete.
I think Rose would agree that she and I are very different in terms of personality, and I hope she agrees with me that I'm very happy to have met her and look forward to meeting again.

Rose is a total sweetheart! We've been in touch on CS-matters for some months and now we finally met. Rose is verry important to me. She is my closest friend and I know her since we were 10 and 11. I have so much fun with her because she has a great sence of humor. When we are 2gether, we can really be ourselfes. Rose is a really optimistich cheerful person and always in to everything. If you want to have a garanteed great time, she is the one you need!

My sister told me so often about her "crew" in Amsterdam and now I know what is going on there. I could spend time and use a lot of imagination trying to explain in a nice way what makes Rose such a good friend an a good person (you know, the "she's open minded, she's generous, she's the best host ever,...") but she already has plenty of these stuff in her profile, no need to say again what have been said so often... I just want to say that if you come to amsterdam you really should meet her (I would say you have to if I didn't hate telling people what they have to do). She's awesome ! Really, she's a good cunt ! What a busy busy girl Rose is! Among her many CS responsibilities and the rest of her busy life, she found the time to attend my very first CS hosting event in Amsterdam. I wish we had more time to get to know each other better but for the one night that we had, Rose was a pleasure to have around!

 

Besides the party animal in her, Rose is an intelligent woman capable of great things as long as she has a challenge. She's my kind of a woman: one with 'balls'. Rose is straight forward and doesn't play games (unless it's kinky perhaps ;-). I really intend to enforce her CS activities when I come back!!

 

So I figured it was time to update my reference for a couple reasons....first I spelled almost every second word wrong in the first attempt and secondly because Rose is that great and we've spent more time together since I left the first one!! I've never seen anyone go out of there way to host/tourguide/be awesome as Rose does every day! I've also heard many similar stories from fellow surfees lucky enough to have surfed it up with Rose. Amsterdam is an amazing city and Rose makes it that much better, I know I will keep coming back for a long time!!

 

Rose is an active member of the Amsterdam CS group. She keeps the CS spirit alive in our capital! :D

Straight from my first friday meetup Rose made me feel welcome in the wonderfull A'dam CS world! She has a great positive vibe, a happy smile, and is always up for some crazy adventures! I was in Dam Square and saw the FREE HUG sign. So I shared in a hug and remebered that I saw a photo on her page with the FREE HUG crew. So i asked if she was there and sure enough she was! Was a very unexpected occurance and I think i suprised her. Wished i had more time in Amsterdam so we could hang out, but hopefully will meet her on the road:)

Rose is a wonderfull person, so full of energie and like a star,always shining. I sometimes think, she is too good for this world. And maybe even, this world is too small for Rose, she needs the universe.LOVE HER!

Rose is this special energy within the Amsterdam CS community that adds the kick to a lot of meetings.. she has the talent to surprise you with random giving, like suddenly you end up under her hands enjoying a holy strong massage... as if she can see through you and knows exactly what you need when you just want to 'arrive'... ! There are just not enough words to describe this trooper! We’re best friends for a long long time now and been through some crazy adventures together! We met in Amsterdam and went to a lively meeting. Rose is a very nice person, has great conversation and it was really good to meet her.

This was without a doubt our best night in Amsterdam...Rose and her friends took us too a sweet park where we all hung out and drank some wine together until it started pouring and we all had to run for cover and got split up...We all made it back together though and had a great time! :)

Rose was the first person that I met thru CS, and it was pure coincidence (if I wasnt pulled over by the German police, who knows...), she made the best welcome dinner, and introduced me to some people that will become very good friends.

2 years after my first visit, I went back to A'dam, and Rose saw my FB status that I'm coming back and offered her couch. after one night spent at her place, we hanged around for next couple of days, talked about our friend Stephen, I introduced her to some cool CS people this time, went on a boat ride, just had a wonderful time :)

I could talk with her about life and all the small things in life, over and over again.

Rose is nice! She`s the sister of my friend Floor and even though she didn`t know me and the rest of us (during a cup of coffee), we had fun and many things to talk about.
Hopefully we`ll go partying in Amsterdam in a few weeks.

Rose came out to meet us after cycling for 5 hours - most people would have bailed on a meeting but Rose came out and showed us an awesome time! Before taking us out she showed us around the city a little. Then we had beers at a local student pub and the three of us talked non-stop until the wee hours of the morning. Rose is amaaazing!

 

Rose is such a cool girl! clever, curious and a great listener, hey... she just rocks!
