I have a small apartment in the Chapinero area, close to the universities Distrital and Javeriana. It is about a 15 minute walk to the center, 2 minutes to Transmilenio and 2 minutes to other public transport like buses.
I can host only one person, because the inflatet mattress I am having is small.

How I Participate in CS
So far I've surfed during my vacation and hosted in the time in between, but since April I'm not able to host anymore, but I'm going to meet a lot of different people in Latinamerica, while travelling within the next year.
I've prepared meetings in my hometown and reached every newbie in Bonn a hand, so if you are one of them, don't hesitate to send your questions to me, even though I'm not in Bonn anymore I'm still able to answer questions about it.
Besides that I've joined the PR & Media Team of CouchSurfing to support the community in answering questions of journalists.
Hasta ahora he "surfed" durante mis vacaciones y "hosted" mientras, pero desde abril no puedo hospedar, pero voy a conocer a mucha gente diferente en Latinoamerica, mientras viajaba en este año.
He preparado las reuniones en mi ciudad y doy a todos los novatos en Bonn una mano, así que si eres uno de ellos, no dude en enviar sus preguntas a mi, aunque yo no estoy en Bonn siempre puedo para responder preguntas sobre esta.
Además de eso he unido a la equipo de prensa de CouchSurfing para ayudar la comunidad en respuesta a las preguntas de los periodistas.
CouchSurfing Experience
After I received my first two CouchSurfers in June 2007, I used CS a lot during a road trip in the US. It was my first awesome experience with cs and it' going on since then! I surfed so far: (80 Couches / 25 countries)
Getting to know to soo many different and interesting people was great!
I've hosted some people coming to visit my lovely hometown Bonn or the close big city Cologne and as well started hosting in my new home Bogota. I have already hosted: (124 Guests / 31 Countries)
At first, I'm nearly interested in everything! It always depends on how people are trying to tell me about it.
Main interests at the moment are travelling and getting to know places and people better, finding new friends in every place.
My hobbies are procycling, running (halfmarathon, baby! ;)), computers and meeting friends.
Al principio, estoy interesado en casi todo! Siempre depende de como la gente trata de decirme.
Mis intereses principales en este momento son viajar y conocer lugares y gente mejor, encontrar nuevos amigos en todo lugar.
Mis pasatiempos son carrera de ciclismo, correr (semimarathon, baby!;)), computadoras y encontrarme con mis amigos.

Books... I was used to read many books, but since I'm working I have less time for it. The last were Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Lord of the Rings. At the moment I'm reading 5 people you meet in Heaven, a book the niece in my host family in Costa Rica recommended.
Libros ... Yo estaba acostumbrado a leer muchos libros, pero desde que estaba trabajando tengo menos tiempo para eso. Los últimos fueron Harry Potter y las Reliquias de la Muerte y Lord of the Rings. I enjoy every kind of people, especially those who have to tell interesting stories... what is interesting depend definitely on how it is told and what it is about! ;)
Travels are always fine, different views on politics or new ideas about the problems we are facing on earth.
Me gusta todo tipo de personas, especialmente aquellas que tienen que contar historias interesantes ... lo que es interesante sin duda depende de como se dice y qué se trata! ;)

I love to teach people about my personal opinions on politics, history and other daily stuff. ;)
I can teach about my hometown Bonn, Germany, German language and German history. Here in Costa Rica I turned out to be also a good person to practice English with...

I'm so glad to met him. For me, he is like a strange but amazing combination between a European and a Latin guy, dificult to explain, but in each talk we had, he always surprised me. I really enjoyed every time that we spent together. Smart, funny and honest, he is the perfect travel partner, I will visit him in Colombia and of course, he always will be welcome in México.
Tom was the one who introduced me to CS! We met at a shared hostel room while traveling in Ecuador. We exchanged information & met up in Peru a month later. We rode the dreaded 30 something-hour bus ride to Cusco, got sick together, & experienced the glory of Machu Picchu together (thanks for the 12309923 photos you took for me, hehe). Tom is an interesting, intelligent guy with HILARIOUS stories to share. You will be lucky if you ever get to meet him! Te echo de menos, Tom!
Tom is a nice guy and a great ambassador. He hosted me on my arrival, and then again in a last-minute semi-emergency. He introduced me to some friends and made me feel welcome. Very good experience.
Tom was a fantastic host in Bogotá, and it was great to hang out with him! He told me where to go in the gigantic city, how to get around, etc., and we had a good time cooking, talking and watching Alcatraz together. I had a GREAT time!
