Bolton is a town in the United Kingdom.

Town just north of Manchester (25 mins away by train) - a good alternative to staying in Manchester, whilst being close enough to the centre to go clubbing ( trains and buses all night ) Image:Http://www.bolton.org.uk/boltonth.jpg Bolton is increasingly multicultural with many different shops and restaurants ( To name a few ) - Latvian/Russian/Polish, Indian / Pakistani, Kurdish / Turkish, Arabic, Iranian - and that's all on one road called 'Derby Street ', in Daubhill, - quite close to the train station.

Anyone interested in the history of the industrial revolution will fancy a visit to the town - birthplace of Samuel Crompton and the home of the original Lever brothers.

Bolton has a premier football team - Bolton Wanderers who play at the Reebok Stadium ( Worth a visit if you are into your football. )

Nightlife is a bit 'townie', however, there is a good local live music scene with regular gigs put on by the 'Bolton Music Collective', 'Bolton Metal Alliance' and 'Subjection'. In addition - you may want to check out 'Gash Collective'.
