England is a country in Europe, politically it is part of the United Kingdom. It has a population of approximately 50 million of which around 7.5 million live in the capital, London.

England is a major tourist destination, and also a popular working holiday spot for travellers from the Commonwealth and European Union.

There are over 20,000 CouchSurfers in the UK. London is the 2nd biggest CS city (behind Paris) with nearly 7,500 members.
