Franz Josef Glacier

This village is for tourists but a trip to New Zealand would not be complete without visiting a glacier. A short drive and you are at the foot of the glacier. If you want to see it closer you will have to go on a guided tour or go in a helicopter.

Accomadation comprises of backpackers... etc, food is limited.
