CS Slovenia

Most of the people visit only Ljubljana (the capital) and the second biggest city Maribor, but Slovenia has really nice country places. We are very proud of our country. It is so small and it has everything: mountains, lakes, rivers, lot of forests, an island on lake Bled, sea...

It is possible to find a lot of nice cities, villages (which are not so touristic) also on internet. Here are some links what is worth to visit and see in Slovenia.

If you're visiting Slovenia and wanna meet more people you can join us in our regular meetings or we can oragize special meeting like we did before regular meetings :)

How to come to Slovenia

Airport Ljubljana

Airline: Air France, Brussels Airlines, ČSA Czech Airlines, easyJet, Finnair, JAT Airways, Malév, Montenegro Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Adria Airways Airport Ljubljana

Airport Maribor

Not so active, for now its only one line Maribor- Priština. And page is in Slovenian language. Airport Maribor

In Slovenia we don't have lot of Low- budget airline so you can also check:

Austria: airport Graz, Airport Klagenfurt

Croatia: Airport Zagreb

Italy: Airport Trieste, Airport Treviso, Airport Venice

Public transport from those airports is good (from there to Slovenia travelers mostly come by train). And in Slovenia is also good to hichhike (I meet two people through CouchSurferfing who loves Slovenia becouse they were here in Sunday - and public transport is wery bad on those days; and the only chance to go somewere was to hichike, bouth of people hichike here in Slovenia for the very first time).
