I feel the contents of the welcome are more of people who come to the couchsurfing main page for the first time .The couchsurfing wiki needs another kind of welcome. Cant think for the wording though. --Mentor 13:14, 18 August 2006 (EST)

I agree. I wanted to trim it down to the basics. Then there's room for Did you know that the navigation bar on the left side contains some useful links. Recent changes is one of them. It allows you to see all changes made to this wiki, in chronological order. You can also watch specific pages, so that they will show up on your watchlist. In your preferences you can choose to get informed by email whenever a page on your watchlist is changed by someone else.
