No City buses but there are private group taxis on each of the islands

Car rentals are best arranged at the airport - Make sure you have an UP TO DATE map as road conditions change RAPIDLY

The weather is a plus with the year round average of between 75 and 78 degree's F and a water temp of 62 to 67 degree's F

Other useful things:

No US passport are not required to enter the USVI or to return to the mainland as they are territories of the United States.

The islands are a "Duty Free" zone which means some great deals on luxury imported items can be found.

St Croix is the largest island with cities Christianstead and Fredrickstead. Buck Island - off the coast of St Croix also has the largest underwater National park in the US. The island also has a Ben Hogan designed championship golf course

St Thomas main city Charlotte Amrlie has a massive amount of shopping and is a popular stopover with cruise ships.

St John is 90% national park with very little infrastructure of any sort but loads and load of natural getaways.
