MY PROJECT

I'm currently the CS City Ambassador for Florence, Italy.

I'm still thinking about what kind of project I can organize for a European Couch Surfing Collective... Feel free to make suggestions!

• lots of hosting- surfers, dinners, hanging out

How I'd like to participate in the future//

European Collective

• I'd like to get involved in a European collective. I'm particularly interested in finding new ways for surfers to get involved with the international community (via the site) and local comunity (via face-to-face interraction). I think the Wiki could be an interesting tool for both, but need to be made more accessible to non-tech people. Maybe we can work on some tutorial, or intro to Wiki sections? I also think the groups and meet sections could be expanded to allow for more organizational tools. Maybe regional or city sections with calendars. perhaps a way to form local committees for city-wide mini-collective, social events or hosting networks? There are so many possibilities!!!

Design Work

• I'd like to get involved in some of the design aspects of the site. Maybe working on logos and merchandising too. My area of expertise is 3d graphics and video post production- maybe a short TV spot that could be used as a promo tool around the world. Something very graphic (think MTV-style, 15/30 second animated shorts) that could be used in any country and any language- either as paid advertising, or to supply to local media as an element for a news or human interest piece on the evening news or travel programming.
