Gorakhpur is a major train junction. You can find trains to most of the cities. It is a convenient gateway to Nepal, which is approx. 100 kms. You can visit Khushinagar, the place where Lord Buddha left for his heavenly abode. It is about 55 kms. from here. The city has few places worth visiting, like Gorakhnath Temple, Gita Vatika etc.
Welcome to the city which is the first or last city in India for most of the foreign travelers as they come from Nepal or go to Nepal and take pleasant memories.
