We've always lived a somewhat alternative lifestyle--shared housing, both formal & informal, raising goats, chickens, & rabbits in Oakland, CA, lived in storefront w/no hot water, couple of years in China, worked w/an exchange student program, were foster parents, adopted 5 older kids (4 now adults).
Now in our 60s, in a single-fam house, feeling cut off. Like the idea of co-housing, though most groups are too expensive for us. Like idea of buying homes (maybe shared) in a neighborhood & sharing resources, tools, skills, combining yards, etc.
Anyone want to discuss this seriously?
