Looking for a male dancing partner for a Tango course
Posted June 15th, 2012 - 1:04 pm by from Berlin, Germany (Permalink)
Hello Tango enthusiasts!

After I had taken almost two years a tango class at the university, I haven't danced for over a year. So I'm a bit "rusty", but I miss it very much and I want to take a refresher course or something similar. I'm looking for a dancing partner who has already some basic knowledge and whose heart beats for the Tango Argentino.
I'm a 34 year old Berliner,(without high heels) I'm 1.69m tall, always ready for a joke and easy going. I speak fluent English and Swedish, I understand some French and Spanish.
Please get in touch, dear Sirs, if you are interested in DANCING Tango and if you have the time to visit a tango course with me on a regular basis (once a week, preferably on weekends).
I'm looking forward to hear from you,
cheers, Uta

Dear Uta,

you can always have a look at http://www.tangokultur.info/argentino/tanzpartner-berlin

that's how I found a dance partner when I started...

Or you can go to the "Nou" where they have a couple of cards of other seeking dancers.

Or at the malajunta, they should have couples, too.

Or just go to one of the open air milongas at Strandbar, you could find someone there, too.

I don't mean to say that any school is better than the other's, these are just the one's I know and feel comfortable with. I've been out of touch for too long to suggest any particular classes or schools.

A friend of mine gives classes, maybe she is looking to pair someone and can find you a partner, too: nury@hotmail.de

Good luck, and many happy Tangos,
