Soon in Berlin, I would prefer to go to Tresor than Berghain. Can you tell me if it is as hard as Barghain to get into ? I am a french respectful guy, I am not a german person and I don't want to pretend I am just to get into a disco...

Thank you for the convenient answer. In fact, I wish to go to Tresor because of its history. I mean Tresor Label. Because I have some records (CD and vinyls) of it : X-102, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood (The Rythm of Vision)...Well maybe the youngsters won't understand my message but the oldest will ;). Even if I appreciated Ben Clock and Marcel Dettman last april in Lyon, to go to Tresor would be like a pilgrimage...Then, I would prefer to go with german people but if I am alone, I want to be almost certain to get into and it's clearly not the case with Berghain.

Hello Fabrice!
I would recommend you both! I went twice to Berlin and I LOVED it! First I was on my own and easily entered Berghain alone and didn't go to Tresor at all.
And the second time I was accompanied by a friend of mine and we were rejected at the Berghain door. I was SO angry! I WANTED absolutely to come to that club I called by then the best one I ever tried. We went to Tresor after that. OH MY GOD! I blamed myself not to have tried that one before!
I saw Dominick Eulberg on stage there and it was simply... CRAZY. German techno is amazing, taking you from the insides and you wish that gig never end!
In both clubs: the best music of the world if you love techno, a sound system just speechless and a crowd simply great!
Have a nice stay in Berlin (am jealous)!

And one more thing: it's SO easy to get into Tresor. 4 British guys behind us were totally drunk (and I say totally drung, it IS totally drunk: speaking very loud, pretending being our friends, their drink in their hand :) ) and got their entries! Cheers Fabrice! (J'adore Lyon! Et Berlin est un excellent choix!)

I completely agree...
I went to terrific Tresor last saturday and indeed kein Problem to get into.
Because of my good party attitude (and also thanks to Jack Daniels I confess), I spent the most of the night behind the sweets stall with the people who worked there (say hello the old man from me next time you go), and part of the morning with the bouncers sat down at the entrance ! Finally, I was still there with the staff as they were closing the Club and I was the last client to leave. Even if I don't speak german (yet), I met plenty of people, it was for me the craziest night of the year 2012 !
