Hey! Im Jen from Argentina and Ill be travelling next week to NYC. Would really like to go to a shop of bikes accessories such as bags, covers for the seat, decorations etc. There is nothing like that down here.
Does anyone knows any? Thank u very much!

Hey Jen,

NYC has a TON of bicycle shops, the one that comes to mind immediately just for overall variety is Bicycle Habitat in SoHo. Large selection, and they actually have two storefronts right up the block from one another. They can be a little pricey at times though.

There are bike shops all over NYC though! The city releases a map every year (It was just updated for 2012) that shows the majority of the bike shops in the five boroughs, along with all of the bike lanes the city currently has installed, you can find it here: http://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/downloads/pdf/2012_nyc-cycling-map.pdf

Good luck with the trip, and let me know if you've got any more questions =)

Jen, if you are looking for more "stylish" accessories, I would check out Adeline Adeline in Tribeca:
http://www.adelineadeline.com/

Or Rolling Orange in Brooklyn:
http://rollingorangebikes.com/accessories/

email me if you have any other questions: burgaska@gmail.com

I also contribute to a website for cycling in nyc that I think you might find helpful: http://www.velojoy.com/

Best of luck!
