Berlin's famous punk culture
Posted January 2nd, 2013 - 12:22 am by from Yekaterinburg, Russia (Permalink)
Hello guys,

Me and my friends have arrived to Berlin for several days, and I'd really love to see the famous punk culture of Berlin (please don't be offended!) People with pink violet hair, openly showed sexuality - where's all this?

For now, we've seen the architecture and the shops, and now it's time to see the vibrant life. So, where should we go?

for all the other people interested in this thread:

afaik there is no openly showed sexuality in the alternative scene (maybe some special appearances in shows sometimes happening at the usual locations, see stressfaktor.squat.net) but there are a few cool sex clubs available like the "club culture houze" (hetero/gay/bi/trans), kitkatclub and all the sm clubs (insomnia etc)
the gay scene has a lot more to offer: around the nollendorfplatz are most of the locations and there is as well the "lab.oratory" in friedrichshain.

the url mentioned above (stressfaktor) is the main place to get all the informations concerning the alternative scene

and yes the "café morgenrot" is a bar as well but mainly a place to eat except the occasional partys down in the cellar.
