Any ideas of future day/weekend trips?

Hello friendly Couchsurfer!

I was wondering if you had any recommendations of places to visit for a day or even 2 at weekends which are close to Melbourne? Also let me know if you are interested in joining and going on an adventure to one as well!

Some ideas some people have given me:
- Murray River
- Grampians
- Werribee Gorge (I would really like to go river gorge walking but this is the only one I have heard of)
- Mornington Peninsula- Arthur's Seat
- Mount Gambier
- Echuca

Any ideas and fellow adventurers welcome!

Thanks,
Tasha :)

Hello Tasha!

I would love to come and explore the area around Melbourne. From the stuff you had list I only have been in Mornington Penisula and I would like to visit the rest. At the moment I am working full time so the only time I have is during the week end but I might can ask a day off for friday or monday.

When do you think to go?

ps: A friend of mine and other couchsurfer we was think to go the week end of the Australia day to Lake Entrance and camping there. If you are interested have a look at the link below. My friend also make a couch activities but I can't find it at the moment.
