G'day CSers from abroad,

Just a quick note to say that I'm planning on taking a group of you for a tour of Melbourne's Aussie Cultural icons this Sunday 17 Nov. 2013, including places like:

-MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground); On Sunday being its also a free open day (no entry charge) it being the MCC's 175th Birthday - The Sacred Turf of the Melbourne Cricket Club, the iconic 'Boxing Day' Cricket Test Match, this year also being another installment in the World famous Test Series Rivalry:'The Ashes' - Between Australia and England. Also the sacred turf of Australia's No. 1 sporting code 'Aussie-Rules Football' or 'Footy', plus the connecting National Sports Museum

-Shrine of Remembrance (Commemorating Victoria's contribution to Australia's sacred and famed ANZAC history (Australia and New Zealand Army Corps)

-Immigration Museum

Then for those who want continue with me, we head roughly 45 mins. South West (By train) to one of Australia's historic & iconic largest Regional Cities - Geelong, Plus the famed Great Ocean Road and Bell's Beach part of the Surfcoast, to learn - in more interactive ways - genuine grass-roots Aussie culture in a regional and coastal context.

These tours of this regional centre will take roughly 2 days, so Tuesday night 19 Nov. or, for those who want to, maybe a 3rd day or half of a 3rd day if anybody still wants to to have more time to take in where we have been some more:

-Geelong Heritage Centre

-Tour of Simonds Stadium - Home of the 'Footy' team and AFL(Australian Football League - Game's highest league and Governing Body) Powerhouse Club: the Geelong Cats; Hearing and experiencing the echo's so to speak of the rich long history and folklore surrounding the proud club. Plus I will show you all some screenings of some footage of footy history, culture and folklore Documentaries.

-Geelong RSL Club (Returned & Services League) - Another ANZAC cultural and community service institution to keep the ANZAC spirit alive and well - Which it certainly has done extremely honorably overly the eras gone by and present. -'Narana Creations' - An Aboriginal Cultural interpretive Centre.

- A local suburban grass-roots Footy Club ground where I will set up a mini footy clinic to give you all some more chance immerse yourselves in a completely interactive way in learning the skills to playing footy.

- If any of you want have a dip/swim in the ocean (I will probably be doing that.) at the beaches along the Surfcoast eg. Torquay, Jan Juc, Bell's Beaches and if we can fit it in a bit more of an exploration of the Great Ocean Road eg. Townships of Anglesea, Fairhaven, the Beach - Point Road Knight...
