Read this recently nice story,
Thank to Debbie for the mistakes correction)
Foreigners are fascinated more and more by Ecuador. Recently, Matthias (a German man married to an Ecuadorian) visited me for 4 days. He has a big property in Yunguilla, near Cuenca. He started his first trip to Ecuador in 1999, and since then, hasn´t stopped coming back to this country and to my home. During his 4 days, he continued exploring new places... On the days with sun, I showed him the snow-capped volcanoes around the Quito city. He thought about staying at my home for a couple of days to resolve his VISA situation, and stayed 4 days at my home and 3 more days to visit the South of the country.
His whole week was like this:
1.- Quito: My home with a nice view of snow-capped mountains, Central Bank Museum, Plaza Fosch, and Carolina Park
2.- Papallacta hot springs almost three hours from Quito, its spa, pools and nature
3.- After Quito, he took the route to the south to visit Quilotoa lake, and sourronding towns
Something interesting about him is that he is fascinated with the Llanganatis´ history. He bought historical books that describe where the Incas treasures are hidden. Obviously this is only a legend that he believes is close to the truth...
In the future, I will surely meet him again
