I've tried them both.
Old Mandarin has a much more traditional northern hot pot, quality meat. The cost is a bit on the costly side. The pricing I believe is per head + ingredients. You also should get the "bread", they go great w/ the hot pot.
The Pot's is an all you can eat type of place. It's cheaper during the week than weekends. It's about $25 per person, and will usually come out cheaper than Islamic. The selection is really good, you get about 4 or 5 different broths to choose from.
