I'm definitely into it!!! I was still thinking about where to post this request/question.

I'm totally up to sharing knowledge, as far as I can share.
For me, I'm a beginner on Photoshop, too - I've just gotten around to using Lightroom for management ...

Looking forward to seeing more replies!

Flo

If we can create an event, it would be great. I have some exams but if there will be an event, I'll try to fix the times.
Just tell me the date, I'd like to be there!

Great - thanks for your effort!!

Shall all of us prepare/select -
let's say 5 pictures for the "skillshare" meeting?

Or any other recommendations for basic PS sessions?

Flow, all we should bring our laptops then? Maybe we can just take a tour, I mean like going Galata Tower, taking some pics and than we go to a cafe, with 1-2 laptops and check. See whats wrong with us. Don't know what kind of plan shall we have.

I'm free from this Thuesday to begining of June.

Hi there,

This is a nice idea for sharing knowledge abour processing photographs but why not give priority to Adobe Lightroom and then to photoshop.

Lightroom is much easier then photoshop and its main aim is the proccess and organise your photographs. It has lots of great functionalities to process your photographs for the expression you are trying to give in your photographs.

Photoshop is more about detailed works rather than general photo processing. If you are not very experienced in photo processing but want to to improce your digital processing vision I strongly suggest you to take a look at Lightroom and than spend time in Photoshop.

As a photographer I use both of them. If you are interested I can share my detailed workflow with you. As a summary the first thing I do is to export my photographs to Lightroom and do the selection, keywording and categorization and rating. And then I process the images one by one starting globally and going thru locatio touches and optimization.

Mostly, Lightroom is always enough to catch the mood I saw while I was making that photo but when I need more detailed work and local retouches I jump into Photoshop and do the work and come back to Lightroom again.

If anyone is interested in Lightroom besides Photoshop I can help to share my knowledge..

Peace,
Enis

Hi Enis,

I really like your idea - I'm very interested in Photoshop, but you're right - a lot of things can be done in Lightroom so it seems. Since almost two years I struggle to get my head around for a proper workflow in Lightroom ..

So, I'd also be very happy to meet for some Lightroom sharing .. what do you think?

Hi Flo,

Thx for the reply.

Both programmes, Adobe lightroom and Adobe Photoshop has similarities but also differences so this makes those 2 programmes replaceable while I am working digitally on my photographs.

Learning how to use these softwares is not the important part of digital workflow. There are zillions of tutorials , articles, videos in the Internet where you can learn which slider does what etc. But the main thing is when and why we should use those tools.

You can pm me or text me 0546 554 57 27 and we can talk further about it.

Have a nice weekend,
Enis
