I'm currently in China on a round the world trip and will be in Mongolia in a few weeks time for a couple of weeks, and it kinda just hit me - I don't have a plan or an idea of what to do! I like arriving somewhere and just doing things that are suggested by locals or people who know the cool things to do, so if anyone has any thoughts or ideas about how I could spend 2 weeks in Mongolia (as cheaply as possible of course!) then I would greatly appreciate any and all suggestions. I would like to spend a few days in the capital, and maybe explore the steppe and the Gobi for a week or so, so if that helps then I am totally open to suggestions. I hope the CSing community of Mongolia can help me out! I look forward to hearing from you all. Stay cool!
Hi there, If you are travelling alone maybe you should take a local bus to go to the certain attractive sites in the countryside. That would cost you cheaper! But if you like to see the Gobi desert for a week then you would need a jeep to travel around, public buses only goes to the capital cities in certain provinces. If you take a trip from tour company then you will pay huge amount of money when by yourself , maybe try to find others to travel with and share a jeep trip!
