Awesome Potluck Dinner Party at Mary's in Spanish Harlem
Posted September 22nd, 2010 - 2:21 am by from Boston, United States (Permalink)
Hey yall!

I'm new to Harlem (and New York, too) and would love to meet some uptown csers. I love cs and I love food, and after talking with fellow cser Chi Chi I've decided to combine these two awesome great things and host a potluck party at my place.

For the dinner, guests can bring either a snack and a drink or a full dish, or, if you really want, two drinks. Two csers have already volunteered to bring dessert, so I think we've already got that covered.

Feel free to bring board games for after (or during) dinner (I have Life, Clue, Settlers of Catan and Zobmondo, but you can bring other games if you want to...especially if one of those other games is Twister.)

Send me a message and I'll give you the address and my number. Hope to see you there!

WHEN: Saturday, September 25, 7-???
WHERE: E 119th St. and Lexington

Hi Mary,

Thanks so much for hosting this. How great! Unfortunately I already have plans for Sat. But I will keep my eyes open for others in the future.

Hope you have a great time!
Suzanne

In case the wording was unclear, I think Mary means that people should bring two items unless they're bringing a main dish (then they can bring just the one item).

Also bring your money so I can take it at poker.

I don't live uptown, but I used to... and I have Twister! I'd love to join -- let me know if you have any preferences about food type.

Mary can't have gluten and as you know I'm vegetarian (but never make it an issue for others).

Hi Mary,

Chi Chi referred me to your party, I'd like to come if it's not too late. I'd like to bring a bottle of red wine and some savory treat from Westside Market..I have some game too I think.

I just need your address.

Looking forward to meeting everyone,
Tamar
