You know what, Izanagi jingu is oldest shrine in Japan. Especially, 2013 is special year in shinto. That is once a 20years ceremony. Izanagi jingu is mother shrine of Ise jingu.

I'll take you there because direction is tricky even I'm Japanese. It's located local country side. It's difficult to go there if you are nonnative. So, this is the chance for you.

Izanagi jingu is mysterious point of pentagram leyline. Ley line is connected between Ise gingu-Izanagi jingu-Kumano shirne-Kashihara jingu-Kyoto imperial palace, Kifune shrine, Kurama temple, etc.
