do their really check your return flight.....

I got my tourist visa already, but I cancelled my return flight. But people have told me their really check if your return is still validate....
is this true , cos I just have printed eticket to prove that but I hope their not checking through the system.....

I would be more than grateful if somebody could help me...

I have never known or head of China Immigration checking for a return ticket, but remember that they have a right to. Also, some airlines will not let you board without a return ticket or an onward flight.

Should you hit this I suggest you buy a full priced ticket out of China, checking first that it is fully refundable.
