I'm currently in Ulaanbaatar and wanting to get a Chinese visa from the embassy so I can travel onwards into China but I need an Invitation letter from a Chinese citizen, would anyone be able to send me one?? Any help on this would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Thankyou!

Hello Group Members

Isn't there a Chinese national out there who can help Oliver?

Oliver.... Have you asked around at the hostels or hotels and other places travellers hang out: very often there is an agent who can get this as part of a visa service, for a fee of course. Alternatively, try to find some Chinese in UB.
Finally, make a similar request in the Visa Forum in Travelchinaguide.com as many more people read this.

Good luck and please post back which way you succeeded.

Hi Paul, thanks for your reply. I haven't had any luck finding Chinese nationals in UB and the only alternative I can find is too book a tour in China which is just too expensive.

Don't rush to do that just yet, I'll ask some friends if they can help.

Give me 24 hours.
