Budapest outdoor fitness for expat and locals- english outdoor fitness classes

Hi All,

I am an Australian Personal trainer who has just arrived in Budapest since October 2009. I am bringing to the frey in Budapest during the Spring/Summer outdoor fitness trainings.

ranging from BOOTCAMPS on Margret island mornings and evenings(especially when the days are longer)

what is Bootcamp-
Boot camp exercise classes vary in style, depending on the teacher. But you can generally expect to meet outside, rain or shine. You'll probably spend an hour doing some form of cardiovascular exercise (running, hiking, interval training, or obstacle course challenges), along with strength elements (using dumbbells, exercise bands, or the resistance of your own body weight). You'll also work on flexibility in a stretch portion of the class, which may incorporate elements of yoga or Pilates.

Also I am a keen cyclist and runner on weekends will organise rides out of the budapest and running routes. I'm thinking of running in the budapest marathon this year.

I would like to hear from those interested and your thoughts on the subject as I am also writing a article on issues concerning the health and fitness of expats and local hungarians.

today i hve booked a flight to Budapest for the month of May (from 13th to 20th), and i like to spend my time training myself, i am not so much trained, so i hope the training will be not too much intense...
Will you organize something in the days i stay in BP?

Hi Fabio,

Stayed tuned to the facebook page as I update all the info there. It will be good to see you as it is a boot camp it's purpose allows you to work as hard as you can( so you work to an intensity that suit you)
as the motto goes " you get out what you put in"

What have you done in the past in fitness etc
what do you want to achieve fitness wise?

Many years ago i just jogging with a friend that is phisioterapist and helped me to make exercises, i am going to start once again to take care of my body (latins said: MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANA, mind is healthy in a healthy body)
so i want to feel better starting from my body's health.
I want to achieve a good elasticity in movements, i don't want to increase too much my muscles, i think pilates could help me too.
