Hey Vic...
I´ve done this trekking twice,.. and it´s wonderfull.
But it´s not the best idea do at that season.... very rainy,....
In general people do that may/june/july....more dry...
You should leave Correas, near Petropolis, early in the morning,... walk all day and sleep at Pico do Açu. Following day,... continue and sleep near Dedo de Deus.
And at the third day, come down and arrive in the afternoon at the Sub-sede Parque Nacional da Serra dos Orgãos, just beside Terezópolis...
And I wouldn´t do it without an experienced guide. I mean... you can get lost on that way.... and if the weather is not O.K... it can be a litle beat dangerous....
But with a good guide and the weather not so bad,.. it´s an wonderfull trekking. I would like to repeat it ,.... but not now.
