Back again after more than a month! I had a dizzy spell which meant high sugar. I had stopped my diet and was slipping on my excersise, and had to pay the price! But now I am on a diet that Raj will be proud of: No sugar, no oil and very low carb. Only a bit of brown rice, two phulkas a day or jawari bhakri or methi chapati. No bread, white rice...I've dropped three kgs in a month and am walking in the garden for 30 mins a day. I continue almost daily yoga, and daily pranayama and meditation.

My eye sight was affected, so I couldn't read or use the computer, but now have glasses for long distance and upgraded my reading glasses, so I'm back!

Raj, hope your work pressure is easing now.

What is everyone else up to??

Hi! Jagapal and Raj,

The blood donor website sounds like a good and and very helpful job. I wish you well. Good also that your tests are all clear.

Raj, it is very difficult to fit everything one wants to do these days. I have become a complete hermit since my illness and the weight of catching up on outside things and internet mails and sites is increasing, but I just can't fit attention to diet, excercise, family, reading and everything else I want to do. The only outside thing I'm concentrating on is consolidating our homeschoolers group and we recently had a lovely homeschoolers fair that I was too busy to inform everyone about. We had just the right number of visitors, though, so it was lovely!

I found again, that diet is more effective than excercise to lose weight. This is the third time since 2004 I've gone onto a completely healthy diet and dropped weight immediately.

Regarding health, does anyone know of a good ayurvedic doctor in Pune? I wish to switch from allopathy to ayurdeda and then go off medication again for blood sugar.

Love,
Urmila.
