Futsal?
Posted January 13th, 2010 - 12:51 pm by from Istanbul, Turkey (Permalink)
Hi I know there are a couple of threads on this already, but I see nothing current, so I decided to just start a new one.

Basically, I would really be interested to get regular futsal matches (perhaps weekly or fortnightly) going with optional drinks afterwards (don't want to be too healthy now). Nothing too serious or competitive (players of all levels are welcome), just to have some fun and get some exercise. And if regular doesn't work, just the occasional game would be great too.

Who would be interested?

Somewhere else on this forum Tokyo Gaijins was mentioned as a place for regular games... Does anyone have any experience with that? How often do they have games? I signed up there now, but don't see any scheduled games.

Have a good year everyone!

Henrik

Hi Henrik,

I just moved to the Tokyo area and am looking to find some regular football, weekends or weekday evenings. Did you manage to find any info anywhere?

Thanks,
Dave

I'm interested in starting a regular kick about on Sundays just for a laugth and then maybe a couple of drinks afterwards, nothing to serious. My house mate is up for it if we can get at least 8 of us together it could be good. What do you think?

Hi guys!

I just wanted to know that this regular kick is team still active?
It's a beautiful plan but looks like the first post was made here like more than half a year ago, so if this doesn't exit anymore, I'd like to organize a new regular (weekly?) matches for current active CSers and my friends in Tokyo!
Possibly every Saturday or Sunday, then grab a beer nearby.

Hope to hear from Tokyo futsal lovers!

Best,

Takeshi

Hi Takeshi and others,

Currently I play Futsal with "Tokyo Gaijins" http://tokyogaijins.com/futsal.html .

There is a mailing list to sign up to and they organise a game or two almost every week.

Having said that, I would still be interested in a CS weekly kick, and especially in the after game beers ;).

How is your planning going?

Henrik

Henrik, thank you for the awesome information, "Tokyo Gaijins"!

So far I only subscribed the mailing list, I would love to join some time.
I'm gonna fly to Egypt on 24th and not coming back around 3 months,
it might be after Aug when I'll join you next time.

Meanwhile, my old friend from university organized a game on this coming Sunday in Kawasaki area!

The venue is SALU Kawasaki

We will meet at 10:40 @ Suzukicho station (Keikyu Daishi Line)
Suzukicho station is on Keikyu Daishi Line, 2 stops away from Keikyu Kawasaki station.

The organizer reserved the Futsal field between 11:00 - 13:00,
this time there'll be about 30 kick lovers, I heard.

Since this is such a short notice, it may be tough for you to make it, though.
Please let me know if you can make it. Then I'll give you my phone number:)

Cheers,

Takeshi
