Posted December 10th, 2010 - 2:25 am by from Saint Paul, United States (Permalink)
In 2011, looking to get Sierra Club Local Outings group going. Specifically looking for volunteers who would like to lead trips.

Local Outings is a group for people who love getting out and exploring our natural world, through trips and conservation. We encourage our members to not only go on trips but get involved in other aspects of Sierra Club, whether that
is Inner City outings (volunteering with youth), lobbying for protection of natural resources, or projects of conversation.

Membership cost: Free

We have meetings every other month at REI- Boston and there we decide where to go outings to.

I would absolutely love to get involved in helping out with Inner City Outings. I love working with kids and the outdoors so it sounds like a great combination. I have not led programs of this nature but i would definitely like to learn a little more about them. If could send me a little more additional information it would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Leigh
